New Mexico game was the first one I attended this year. I was surprised at the attendance considering what we've done this year and the unbelievable weather. Took my 4 year old and he had a blast.

This whole thing is absolutely insane. You have a conference competing for the money of an NY6 bowl and you have a contract that prevents you from even chromecasting it. (Yeah I know its the middle of the night but still). The future is stuff like Facebook and stadium. They put on a better broadcast than ESPN and are available easier than local TV. The networks and these football contracts are in for a big shock these next few years. I hope the MW takes full advantage and gets ahead of the game on this with the next negotiations in a way that lets them distribute widely and take the bulk of the ad revenues.

Other than providing crews and commentators old style media has no bargaining power.

Yeah I noticed the 10 to 11:30 as well thought it was sorta weird. I'd be shocked if they cut to the set it and forget it chicken cooking guy after the 1st half.

Maybe they figure that the MW will institute a mercy rule after watching the New Mexico film and the Aggies will be there by then. Kinda of risky on the road in Hawaii but chicken cooking guy probably pays well and the Zoobs even lit up their D.

The football play-by-play announcer at Hawaii is different from the basketball guy (of Ben Dole fame). Either way, the football guy is great.

I don’t think so, but a $10-$20 antenna should do the trick for most people

Smh. If YouTube TV or any of the steaming services carried KJZZ it would be available for only those in Utah, just like any local station on any cable/satellite/steaming service. So the person that asked about KJZZ on YouTube tv presumably lives in Utah and that person, unless they live in the absolute middle of nowhere, should be able to pull in KJZZ with an antenna. If you do not live in Utah, then it matters not what platform KJZZ may or may not be available on because it’s not going to be available to you, at least by any legal means.

Well, the most reliable option for those somewhat close to Utah that have Directv is to simply call and change your service address to somewhere in Utah. Friends house or just some random house it doesn’t really matter especially if you have your bills sent electronically. If they ask if you need to schedule an installation in your new home you just say nope I’m pretty good with this stuff and already set everything up. All of a sudden your locals will flip to Utah channels and Jazz games will be in the clear without having to buy League Pass.

The reason you have to be close to Utah is that the satellite that beams down local channels is a “spot beam” and doesn’t cover the whole country. I imagine Dish is the same way.

I see the USU vs Hawaii at the bottom of my list of upcoming games on Stadium app, on my iphone, which means I'm casting to my big TV with a (or 2) MaiTai in hand.....ALOOOOOHHHHAAAAA & MAHALO ( sorry Jordan & I used to spend the summer in Hawaii)

Having moved to the Boise area 7 years ago, I’ve wanted to get the Utah local channels back. Called directv this morning and made the switch. Works like a charm.

Sorry , I am just relaying what I heard David James say this morning at the end of their show. He said that they thought KJzz was going to pick up the game but that isn’t going to happen now and you can still view it using the stadium app. So , can anyone verify?
