John Hartwell
May very well be the overseeing the most successful period in in USU athletics in recent memory. Just thought he should be recognized.

I'm actually really smart, probably smarter than you are so if you disagree with what I have stated in this post, you are likely wrong (and dumb).

Re: John Hartwell
As much as he wants to take the credit, USU basketball and football are undefeated since the birth of my first son. So I think it has more to do with that.

Re: John Hartwell
John is a great AD that cares and has done it the right way. I tried to tell people before, he's not just the guy they say "hides from the media". We'll be lucky to keep him around for a couple more years.

Re: John Hartwell
I'm a huge fan of John. I don't understand the criticism he sometimes gets. Just because he's maybe a little more introverted than Barnes (who isn't though?) doesn't mean he isn't a great AD.

Hartwell has done a good job. Smith was a great hire. They have been creative with tickets. Kudos to him.

I like Hartwell, was able to meet him in SD last Spring. Good guy, love the southern accent.

Re: John Hartwell
I'm certainly grateful for what he's done for the athletics department. Tough decision was made at the end of last basketball season. I'm really impressed he made it possible to provide the compensation package for the current basketball staff. That really took some preparation, something I suspect had been in planning for some time prior to the move.
