Nice list. Glad to see most are still committed, or at least waiting on the new head coach.

The longer we don’t hire someone the more likely these kids will find other options. However hiring the right coach is more important than losing a few recruits I suppose.

Well so far it looks like no one has taken off but I don't know how long you have to wait to find that out. Good news so far.

Re: COACHING CHANGE AFTERMATH: RECRUIT RE-COMMITMENT LIST 2018
Most are staying thanks to Frank's efforts. I can't stress this enough. When it comes to the Pacific Northwest guys Stacy Collins MUST be retained.
Re: COACHING CHANGE AFTERMATH: RECRUIT RE-COMMITMENT LIST 2018
For those players waiting to see who is hired, it would be interesting to talk to them privately to find out what they are looking for, or the opposite--what they don't want in a coach, that could send them to another school. I imagine each one has his unique concerns. Also, it's my understanding that the HC doesn't recruit every player, and that it may be any assistant coach who often establishes the recruiting relationship. If true, I wonder if that will have an effect on who stays and goes?

Re: COACHING CHANGE AFTERMATH: RECRUIT RE-COMMITMENT LIST 2018
It might. I may sound like a broken record but the guys that are tentative about their commitment are all pacific northwest guys and are all Stacy Collins recruits. Coach Collins was up visiting all of them as recently as yesterday and Monday.snoel wrote: ↑December 5th, 2018, 10:36 amFor those players waiting to see who is hired, it would be interesting to talk to them privately to find out what they are looking for, or the opposite--what they don't want in a coach, that could send them to another school. Re: COACHING CHANGE AFTERMATH: RECRUIT RE-COMMITMENT LIST 2018
Hey 22, do the guys on the list that say "Still Committed" reflect recruits that haven't verbalized a decommitment....or have they given some type of indication that they remain committed to USU?
Reason I ask is I am pleasantly surprised to see Cam Lampkin in the "Still Committed" category. He sure has been liking alot of Texas Tech stuff on Twitter lately.

He may like a lot of stuff there but if he wants to go there it will likely have to be as a Pwo. And I don’t blame him for liking it. Home state, primary recruiter is there etc.

Re: COACHING CHANGE AFTERMATH: RECRUIT RE-COMMITMENT LIST 2018
Some of these guys are only "still committed" because Wells hasn't offered them yet. Wells is still getting sorted out where their needs are and what they have with their current class. Once they get that all sorted out and decide who they want to offer, I'm sure they'll flip. Cam Lampkin may be one of those guys. It's too bad if he does because we have a gaping need at WR next year and immediate playing time will be available for him.utahcountyaggie wrote: ↑December 5th, 2018, 12:27 pmHey 22, do the guys on the list that say "Still Committed" reflect recruits that haven't verbalized a decommitment....or have they given some type of indication that they remain committed to USU?

Re: COACHING CHANGE AFTERMATH: RECRUIT RE-COMMITMENT LIST 2018
As of today, Texas Tech has NOT contacted Cam Lampkin. I'm not sure how many of our commits could play in the Big-12. This is absolutely no knock on our recruiting class but we have to acknowledge that there is a difference in overall talent level between the Big-12 and the Mountain West. The guys that I have listed as "STILL COMMITTED" have all reaffirmed their commitment with myself or my colleagues at 247sports. To put it bluntly I have personally been in contact with the Head Coaches of Ashton Adams, Aaron Bredsguard, Josh Calvin, Cam Lampkin, Logan Maxwell, Sione Moa, Simon Thompson and Jaymason Willingham. As well as preferred walk-ons Pierce Callister, Jack Drews and Nehemiah Shird. My colleagues have spoken to Aric Davison, Jackson Owens and Dean Rice. As well as preferred walk-on Larenz Redd. And there is current dialogue with Kani Taufa. As I've said before, the Pacific Northwest guys all REALLY like Stacy Collins. I can update my list with 100% confidence based on the information myself and my colleagues have been personally provided by the indiviuals themselves or others extremely close to the recruit. We are working hard to keep Aggie Nation as fully updated as we can during the early signing period.Roy McAvoy wrote: ↑December 5th, 2018, 12:34 pmSome of these guys are only "still committed" because Wells hasn't offered them yet. Josh Calvin and Aric Davison are coming on their official visits this weekend. Aric Davison will be in class January 7th.

'22 do you get a "commission" for subscriptions on your other site? If so are you running any promotions right now or in the near future? I'd like to help you out a little for your efforts and insight.

No, it doesn't. It shows him committed to Utah State with a 50 50 prediction.

Looks like Kj Trujillo is visiting this weekend. Former Colorado committed who decommitted when they fired their coach. The key here is coach Collins is recruiting him.

I don't know if you can read much into this, but Its smelling a lot like Andersen or Maile. A lot of recruiting resources being expended for an unknown xandidate. Wasn't Nyborg w/ Andersen at Wiscosin?

Maile, Collins, and Unga are doing a great job keeping the recruiting class together. Whoever the new coach is I hope they are given an offer to stay with the team.

Dadrion Taylor would be a good addition at RB. Very underrated.
