Flipping kids from Western Kentucky
Anybody know or heard of any potential flips we may get from Western Kentucky with Sanford and TJ both coming to Logan?
In particular, we could REALLY use one (or both) of these guys:
Manuel Allen - WR
Rancho Verde (Moreno Valley, CA)
6-2 / 175
3* - 0.8866
Dalvin Smith - WR
Glasgow (Glasgow, KY)
6-3 / 225
3* - 0.8499

Both are listed on 247sports as committed to WKU for the 2019 class.

My colleagues and I have been discussing Allen. I will tell you what, getting one of those kids to follow would be big. Getting both, would be HUGE!utahcountyaggie wrote: ↑December 17th, 2018, 2:19 pmAnybody know or heard of any potential flips we may get from Western Kentucky with Sanford and TJ both coming to Logan?

Unless he changes his mind and bails out. Sanford Jr. is the guy.

Allen committed to Helton, not Sanford. I don't think he has a connection to Sanford. I'd love to have him though!

With WKU firing Sanford would kids still have to wait a year to transfer?

Not unless they have already signed a LOI, which I would assume they could not have done at this point.USUstudent13 wrote: ↑December 17th, 2018, 4:44 pmWith WKU firing Sanford would kids still have to wait a year to transfer?

The only time a kid doesn't have to sit is
1. They did not sign a letter of intent
2. They have graduated

These two wr’s are 2019 verbal commits so they could always change their mind at this point and not have any ramifications.

Mo-Val to Logan? 650 miles or so.
Mo-Val to BFE Kentucky? 2,000 miles.
Just sayin'

Re: Flipping kids from Western Kentucky
Keric Wheatfall just committed to Fresno, so either of these guys would be huge.
Candidly, any WR who isn’t drooling over the prospect of catching passes for Jordan Love the next two seasons is just plain stupid. It should be very easy for us to recruit top end JC WR. I’m hard pressed to think of a better situation for a JC WR to showcase talent to NFL scouts. Great QB, two great RBs to open things up, and plenty of playing time available.
