Re: 2019 USU FOOTBALL SIGNING DAY CENTRAL
I saw Lampkin tweet the other day he wasn't signing until feb. has that changed? Great to see most are signing this week, a good sign that they aren't waiting on another offer and are fully committed to the Aggies.

Re: 2019 USU FOOTBALL SIGNING DAY CENTRAL
His coach told me yesterday that as far as he knew Cam was planning on signing tomorrow. As of last Wednesday, Gary had not made contact with Cam and maybe that is what brought on the tweet? I would imagine that if Gary managed to make contact with Cam that may have changed his mind? All I know is what I was told yesterday.

If a player signs in December does that mean they enroll/start college classes in January?

Re: 2019 USU FOOTBALL SIGNING DAY CENTRAL
So other than KJ Trujillo (I thought I read an article saying he was signing during the early period but not necessarily on the 19th), anyone else that is not currently committed potentially signing in the early period? Any flips (or potential flips) from the new coaches brought in?

They could, but it doesn't mean that for most. These guys are just signing LOIs early and getting the whole process finished.Aggie84025 wrote: ↑December 18th, 2018, 1:35 pmIf a player signs in December does that mean they enroll/start college classes in January?

Here's name for a potential flip. Hunter Hill OL from Orem. Please pay attention to the word "potential", it is not a sure thing.ineptimusprime wrote: ↑December 18th, 2018, 1:36 pmSo other than KJ Trujillo (I thought I read an article saying he was signing during the early period but not necessarily on the 19th), anyone else that is not currently committed potentially signing in the early period? No offense but how dumb do you have to be to not get a 2.3 in a public high school with an ACT around 18?aggies22 wrote: ↑December 18th, 2018, 3:25 pmWe haven't heard much about Kani for some time. Re: 2019 USU FOOTBALL SIGNING DAY CENTRAL
Exactly.... I didn’t have a 2.3 or an 18 in high school. My dad died when I was 13 and I didn’t care about school at all. My HS career got off to a rough start. I’ve since completed a masters program with over a 3.7 cumulative GPA. Everybody has different experiences.UtahStizzle wrote:You may not think I'm smart but dozens of online IQ tests say otherwiseYoungBloodAggie wrote:No offense but how dumb do you have to be to not get a 2.3 in a public high school with an ACT around 18?aggies22 wrote: ↑December 18th, 2018, 3:25 pmWe haven't heard much about Kani for some time. Re: 2019 USU FOOTBALL SIGNING DAY CENTRAL
My oldest is in 8th grade and it is a constant battle in regards to his schoolwork. He doesn’t seem to care until we get after him. He is plenty smart but the care factor for grades is minimal. We are hoping and praying that he pulls his head out by next year before there are long term consequences.Stucki wrote:It isn't always easy to teach high school freshman about long term consequences of behaviors.

Re: 2019 USU FOOTBALL SIGNING DAY CENTRAL
I think the lack of caring about anything is just this generation. Kids these days seem to not give a $hit about anything, unless you threaten to take away their phone.......blueblood wrote: ↑December 18th, 2018, 5:45 pmMy oldest is in 8th grade and it is a constant battle in regards to his schoolwork. KJ Trujillo would be fanfreakintastic!!! But also probably far fetched. If I had to venture a guess, it will be the newly offered JuCo safety Koby Perry.Roy McAvoy wrote: ↑December 19th, 2018, 8:54 amI'm anxious to know this new recruit is that committed this morning.

Re: 2019 USU FOOTBALL SIGNING DAY CENTRAL
What generation made the preceding one go “kids today are great students, and they really care about others.”? It’s not a generation thing, it’s an age thing. Teenagers by and large suck. They sucked in bygone eras and they suck today. Sure there are exceptions, but for the most part teenagers have always been annoying and apathetic.YoungBloodAggie wrote: ↑December 18th, 2018, 7:46 pmIt's almost like they were all raised by bad parents.aggies22 wrote: ↑December 18th, 2018, 5:58 pmI think the lack of caring about anything is just this generation.
