How did they beat Boise State in Boise? Our loss there is gonna sting for quite a while. Best chance in a long time. Ugh.

Boise has had a bad loss many years. Their loss in Logan with 237 turnovers was unexpected. No different than SUDS this year.bluegrouse wrote:How did they beat Boise State in Boise? Our loss there is gonna sting for quite a while. Best chance in a long time. Ugh.

SDSU is on a downward trend, their recruiting class was subpar for them. I think RL may begining to slip.

SDSU lost at home to unlv this year and should have lost to San Jose. They started out okay but they went downhill.

No way, these guys are tougher than Alabama.Sl7vk wrote:We should beat these guys next year. On the road... doesn't matter.

But they run a pro-style offense that according to some people we are supposed to emulate in order to win championships in lieu of the "gimmick" offense of the past few years.

Re: SDSU being handled by Ohio
This last year was not gimmicky at all. It was a very straightforward offense that spread the ball all over. We executed the no huddle offense nearly to perfection.

This is the SDSU team that many of us are projecting an Aggie loss or toss-up to next year? Pfft.

Poor performance. Weird team. Beat Boise and asu but then struggled vs poor competition.
However teams can change a lot from year to year. Look at 2017 vs 2018 for the aggies.

Re: SDSU being handled by Ohio
Their season did a 180 similar to our 2015 season. Started good, but went off the rails in the latter half with some questionable losses.

SDSU football is to MWC football what NMSU basketball was to WAC basketball. Lose some games to poor opponents and then beat the top of the league.
