Re: Steve Wiley RIP
We should have a bunch of pictures of him printed out before the first home game next year and hold them up.

Condolences to his family...he will be missed! Team needs to wear a patch/sticker next season in his honor. Who’s ever in charge, make it happen.

Re: Steve Wiley RIP
Oh my goodness. It sounded like he was getting better. Very sad news indeed. So glad he got to see the national ESPN article and hopefully feel the appreciation of the fans, coaches and players. Rest In Peace, Night Runner.

Oh No! Such a great guy and a great Aggie! I am heartbroken.
We need a NightRunner patch or helmet sticker for next year. Would love to somehow make the name NightRunner a thing long term with Aggie Football

Most of you knew his as "pops" or "wiley" but I had the privilege of calling him Uncle Steve. He loved Utah State more than anyone ive ever known. He was EVERYTHING about Utah State. He bled Aggie Blue! Heaven gained a great Aggie today!

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

We've all been grateful for the sacrifice and efforts your Uncle made towards Utah State.
Like many of us he has weathered the storm and seen Aggie football through the good and bad.
Glad that he was here to witness a historic season, and know that Aggie football is (back) in good hands.
He'll be missed!

Re: Steve Wiley RIP
Wow. Terrible news.
I love all of these ideas. I especially want to see all of the stadium holding up Steve Wiley cutouts/photos in our first home game next year.

Re: Steve Wiley RIP
What a f---ing pr--k!! Show some compassion and some respect! Anyone with a Twitter account needs to let that a$$hole know how inconsiderate he is being. I doubt the Wiley family would appreciate seeing a remark so small minded right now.

In fairness to Eric the tweet he was replying to was ridiculous too. All Eric did was post the ESPN and @onetrueaggie made that unnecessary reply to
eric’s Post. It was this post he quoted and made that reply to:

Sad to hear it.
I high fived him at ATK once, it was glorious and impressive to all who witnessed it. I'll miss seeing him on the sidelines.

Re: Steve Wiley RIP
Honestly the first tweet was just a simple comment. The headlines made it seem like he was dying but the article was just about his retirement. Eric overreacted big time. Anyway he just apologized for itRoy McAvoy wrote:In fairness to Eric the tweet he was replying to was ridiculous too. All Eric did was post the ESPN and @onetrueaggie made that unnecessary reply to

Re: Steve Wiley RIP
Right after the NEZ was completed, I was in town and swung by to see if I could get a tour. Steve voluntered to take me on a specially guided tour of the entire buidling. Great tour and during it, we figured out his brother Ron was one of my YM leaders while I was a teen. Great man and family. He will be missed.
