With apologies, I must admit that I'm already there.

I understand it. I am sure I'd feel the same if neutral. But part of me (orange blinders on) maybe sees us as the good guy in white and bama the bad guy in black.

I think it's the Saban factor that everyone hates...Dabo is so likable that he doesn't seem to ignite the same level of hate...at least for me.

While the Clemson-Bama rivalry is developing, a lot of people in Alabama still have a fondness for the "Clemson Tide" given that Frank Howard, Danny Ford, and Dabo are all Bama grads. As much as I enjoy what RMH brings to the board, UA is the reason I can feed my family, so Roll Tide!

That’s how I see it. Clemson seems to be the only team that can stop the evil empire.RockyMountainHigh wrote:I understand it. I am sure I'd feel the same if neutral. But part of me (orange blinders on) maybe sees us as the good guy in white and bama the bad guy in black.

I also think it has to do with the SEC conference. They claim superiority with 7 home game schedules. Texas A&M had the toughest ranked OOC schedule with Clemson, UAB, Louisiana-Monroe, and Northwestern State (all at Kyle field). Play a tougher schedule is what everyone gets to hear while 2 win Louisville was the cream on top of Alabama’s OOC schedule. (Louisiana, Arkansas State and the Citadel are the other OOC teams to cap off their 8 home game schedule).breadysmith wrote:I think it's the Saban factor that everyone hates...Dabo is so likable that he doesn't seem to ignite the same level of hate...at least for me.

It's always nice when the playoff boss also has a billion dollar contract with you.

Probably. I’m from Seattle but cheered for the Red Sox (when they weren’t playing the Mariners) until 2004. Now, I still love their city, but don’t like their team. No question in my mind these are the two best teams, so they deserve to be there. I’m rooting for Clemson in part because you’ve been a solid Aggie friend.

I like that Bama beat Georgia last year.
I like that Nikki Haley is a Clemson fan.
I like both Saban and Dabo

I am trying to get to a game in Logan next season. If I do I hope I see a lot of y'all.
