Jordan Love on crutches
Just saw Jordan Love on campus today on crutches and a knee brace. Anybody know anything?? Hope it’s nothing serious

Re: Jordan Love on crutches
He actually was hurt at the end of the season, something about a Meniscus, had minor surgery and will be back soon

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Re: Jordan Love on crutches
If it's an arthroscopic debridement, the recovery time is minimal and we probably see him unencumbered during spring ball ... with JL getting quality time with the mid-season transfer WRs both in Spring and with everybody during Summer.
There was some talk he didn't seem quite right during the CSU and Boazy games. Something like this would account for it.

Re: Jordan Love on crutches
That makes sense watching his form and how he failed to step into throws. The problem with a pre-surgical meniscus is the tear tends to lock up your knee at the most inopportune moments and after that the swelling takes over. He will be good to go.USU78 wrote: ↑January 7th, 2019, 12:12 pmIf it's an arthroscopic debridement, the recovery time is minimal and we probably see him unencumbered during spring ball ... with JL getting quality time with the mid-season transfer WRs both in Spring and with everybody during Summer.

Re: Jordan Love on crutches
Maybe I'm just dreaming it but I thought I remember the coaches stating in a post-game or pre-game interview that Love needed some minor work done as soon as the season was over. I don't think it is anything to worry about.
Re: Jordan Love on crutches
A meniscus can also be sprained and bruised among other things. My son sprained his in HS and was fine 6 weeks later.ViAggie wrote:WHAAAAA? Torn meniscus is NEVER good! I hope he has a good recovery.

Thanks for that link, very sobering. It sounds like this is something that doesn't get "fixed" just that the complications are minimized. Bummer on the long term outlook.
