Fresno St. Game
A very tough game tonight. Fresno has won 9 of their last 10 and are very athletic. They are building a team somewhat like Nevada has (and which I wish we would do more of) with grad transfers and regular transfers. I think they have at least 4 that are contributors. Most lines have us as at -6.5, but I haven't found a "prognosticator" who isn't picking Fresno to cover the spread.
This will be a good test for the rest of the MWC season -- we must have players make plays (besides Sam) to win close games.

Aggies have been turning the ball over a lot - 17 vs Air Force and not creating many turnovers. Not good formula. Weak PG play as well

Queta - stay out of foul trouble (copy and paste each game)
Can Brock M continue better play and outside shooting
Need Brown or Taylor to contribute
PG - run offense, low TO, need to contribute
Continue our strengths - rebounds, tough D, GATA
These are probably keys every game going forward. With TK struggling, Jk III gone this already thin team is even more thin

We need this one bad. For our confidence, for the fans, and to try and get a top 2-3 finish. I think we’ll see a packed house tonight. Sometimes that can put as much pressure on the home team as the road if they’re not used to it.

I penciled this game in as one of our two home losses and with us finishing 11-7. I changed my mind later and counted this game as a win. I think a win is very tenuous. For that to happen, we have got to get some production out of the PG position even if Sam has to play it with Brito taking over at #2.

SB Nation has Utah State as in contention for the first four out. They have Fresno State as a 12 seed....big game tonight!! Games like this will be key if we want an at large bid possibility. It will be our best win so far this season if we get the W.
