Recruiting Visits Thread
https://247sports.com/college/utah-stat ... ll/Visits/
Looks like 1 committed guy (Gilliam), 1 signed guy (Harris), and a big 3 star instate DT (Hilborn) are visiting this weekend. Anyone else? (Maybe Riley Burt based on other thread?)
Also, looking at the commit list on 247sports, it appears we’ve moved on from Dadrion Taylor or that he’s decommitted. Is this old news that I missed?
Just looking at the prospects list on the 247sports site, it also looks like we're starting to look at quite a few new prospects that we weren't looking at before.

Re: Recruiting Visits for Weekend of 1/11 and Other Stuff
I think we're looking at Hilborn as an offensive lineman. I think the Dadrion Taylor thing hasn't really been talked about but Dadrion chose to move in a different direction. While I did like Dadrion, the direction that the new staff is moving in regards to RBs is very intriguing

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

What do we think the odds are that Cooper signs with the Aggies just looking at is tapes the kid is a winner and I believe what do really well?

Looks like Legas and Gilliam visited this weekend. Did the potential grad transfers and others make it up?

Re: Recruiting Visits for Weekend of 1/11 and Other Stuff
Maybe this has been discussed but is Legas a sign and send? If so we’d get him two years after Calvin which would be good spacing. I think both Calvin and Legas could be difference makers. I’d feel really good If we could have Love, Columbi, Peasley, Calvin, and Legas all in the pipeline. Is it guaranteed that Legas will be a qb or is there a chance he plays a different position?

Legas would be a great signing! Would love to see him beat the Y in several years.

Jaylen is committed. Just hasn’t announced it, but his dad pretty much did.

Re: Recruiting Visits for Weekend of 1/11 and Other Stuff
I believe we are looking at Legas as a QB. I've seen him play a few times and came away impressed. I've also been told that Legas will do whatever the coaching staff would like him to do, greyshirt or sign and send.AGGIEinIOWA wrote: ↑January 13th, 2019, 5:22 pmMaybe this has been discussed but is Legas a sign and send? Re: Recruiting Visits for Weekend of 1/11 and Other Stuff
Often times it can be very tough to get potential prospects to talk about visits. The typical response if we get one at all is "good" or "cool".YoungBloodAggie wrote: ↑January 13th, 2019, 7:24 pmIs there any sort of recap for how these guys' visit went?

One more thing to add about Legas, we believe that he was actually on an unofficial visit. That means he can still come back in the next few weeks and spend an entire weekend on our dime.

He would be a good signing. I believe we are looking at him as a CB.

He would be a big time signing. Already 215 lbs and has good speed.

Looking like a much bigger weekend with visitors this week than last. Hopefully we can snag a couple of commits!

Re: Recruiting Visits Thread
I would not be surprised if we get a visit from Lolani Langi. 247 has him trending from being 100% Utah to more undecided.

Langi has said he would like to visit Utah State but I don't think a date has been set. I am not 100% but I think Daniel is his older brother.

Re: Recruiting Visits Thread
It appears the 247 guys have updated visits for this weekend. Looks like the linebacker from Washington, Aj V. is not coming this weekend. Also getting a visit from Dominic Tatum.

We want to bring AJ Vong...in as a push forward or "blue shirt" in the summer. In order to do that we can't bring him on an official visit.slcagg wrote: ↑January 18th, 2019, 3:56 pmIt appears the 247 guys have updated visits for this weekend. I hope we can hold on to AJ, I really liked his film. It will be tough with offers that don’t require him to wait.aggies22 wrote: ↑January 18th, 2019, 5:01 pmWe want to bring AJ Vong...in as a push forward or "blue shirt" in the summer. All he has to do is wait until summer to enroll, he can still sign in February. Jackson Owens is doing this already.GeorgiaAggie wrote: ↑January 18th, 2019, 5:55 pmI hope we can hold on to AJ, I really liked his film. Re: Recruiting Visits Thread
So is AJ here on an unofficial or won’t visit at all? That sounds like a pretty stupid rule. The NCAA is a complete joke, so it doesn’t really shock me.aggies22 wrote: ↑January 18th, 2019, 6:47 pmAll he has to do is wait until summer to enroll, he can still sign in February.
