I have to admit that I've yet to attend a MWC tourney game since we've joined (I loved the tourney days at the Anaheim Convention Center back in the Big West Days). Maybe that will change this year?

I got my tickets ordered and lodging booked. I haven't missed it since we joined the MW. Always a good time.

Will not be there this year. Based on my one experience at the MWC tournament two years ago, I suggest staying close to the T&M, within walking distance if possible. LV traffic is tough and parking is expensive. I stayed in Henderson to be close to my grandson and the band, but never again.

There is a trick to parking. Unlv offers a $10 guest parking pass that works all week I'm the T&M parking lot. We always stay or by South Point. It's easy access to the arena via the freeway and then parking is a piece of cake.

Please tell me more about this parking pass. How do I go about getting one?

I see that the team hotel is South Point. Is there a group rate for staying there? I'm trying to get a handful of people to go down, and it would be a lot easier to convince them if we could get a decent deal for lodging.

There are fan rates but the booking says it's closed. You may want to call. Hard Rock is walking distance to the arena.

I found that page... It's actually for 2018 and not this year. I'll try calling tomorrow to see what I can find out.

I guess they haven't updated it yet. The 2019 page lists the hotels. They usually have a code to use when booking. It may not be available yet.

USU has a section and you can purchase in that section through the USU Ticket Office. They had a discount if you purchased back in December or January but that's ended now. If you aren't going to the entire tournament then you can just buy individual games in Vegas. Check Craigslist, StubHub or just buy from the ticket office. I believe the ticket office only has upper bowl seats but you can most likely move down into a section for a team that isn't playing in that session.

Thank-You! My parents decided to get tickets. They haven't been in years so hopefully its a good sign that we'll get a decent turnout down there!

Really wish I could. Spring break doesn’t line up with basketball tournaments out here

For planning purposes, here is last year's bracket: https://themw.com/documents/2018/3/10// ... _final.pdf

I couldn't find a 2019 bracket with game times for the different seeds, but I'm assuming it follows same format as last year. If so, this means as long as we stay in Top 5, we will not have a Wednesday game. If we can hold onto the 2 or 3 seed, we would avoid a Thursday day game and play Thursday evening.

Holding onto a 2/3 seed would also make travel/lodging more enticing since you could leave Cache Valley early Thursday morning and get to Vegas in time for the evening game and plan on a Thursday-Saturday stay, as opposed to Tues or Wed-Saturday stay. Hopefully this will encourage more fans to attend.

Your assumptions are correct...the 2/7 game will be 6:00 PT and the 3/6 game will be at 8:30 PT.
