He already lost one guy from his staff. According to footballscoop, Bouknight is leaving for Oregon to coach receivers. Odd to move for the same position group but I assume Oregon paid him more.

Perhaps he's already figured out that Texas Tech might be in a no-win situation right now and jumped ship.

Javon also may be sick of getting out of his car and pumping his own gas!

Wow! I am somewhat surprised at this but thinking back, wasn't coach Bo one of the last to commit to follow Wells to TTU? Perhaps the decision to finally join his staff down there never sat quite right and this opportunity gave him a way to get on a path that better suited him.

Yes he is going to Oregon, he was reluctant to go to Texas Tech but went because he knew Coach A wasnt going to retain him

I would much rather have Bouknight than the OSU / minor league football coach.

That OSU/minor league football coach landed AJ Carter for us after 3 weeks on the job.

Coach A wasn't going to retain him, despite his success his, and our inability to get a receivers coach to stay more than 2 days? I thought Bouknight was going to get paid finally. Too bad, I liked him.

It was the cornerbacks coach that bailed on us in less than 48 hours.

My mistake. Still would've liked to have kept Bouknight.
