If you want to hit the road to a game tomorrow then the USU game at CSU would probably be a better choice.

Agreed, but unfortunately I can't go anywhere. Will have to watch and yell at the TV instead.

If Caroline is such an outstanding citizen I would have expected a public apology for his actions after the game.

A little history:

The band started playing this song at all the football and basketball games back in 2016 and it has obviously increased in popularity since then, which I think is great.

2016 was the year we got our current director of athletic bands, who has been fantastic.

Several weeks before the 2016 football season started, he met with me and another student (we were the drum majors that year) to discuss how things worked here and how he would implement his teaching style while keeping up with USU’s tradition. We also discussed what music to play for the different field shows as well as tunes to play in the stands. There were plenty of short little ditties to play in between downs at football games, but we also had to pick longer tunes for when we had more time to play. Sweet Caroline was one of the options.

The other two weren’t sold on Sweet Caroline, but since I really like it, I kept pushing it until I convinced them.

It was my favorite stand tune while I was still in the band, but I never imagined it would potentially play a role in something like this lol I think I made a good decision that year adding that song to our list

It would be great to see some signs at the MWCT where there's a picture of Neil Diamond and underneath it says "Sweet Caroline" and a screenshot of Jordan Caroline being held back by his teammates and underneath it says "Sour Caroline"

I've been waiting for this and applaud the creators! But I would love if we made a full length one with some game footage and the footage in the hallway! Maybe have a clip of the students reaching out at the baseline, "touchin' me, touching youuuuu!!"

I’m hoping for some kind of parody at the tourney something along the lines of

Sounds like Sweet Caroline isn't so sweet. The folks on the San Diego State chat site are saying that he was throwing tantrums during the game and even got T'd up for his behavior. I would like USU to paint the fire extinguisher blue and put the school logo on it and give it to Sweet Caroline as a participation trophy.

Heard this song today. This will always be how I remember this song.
