He took a lot of crap from the board when he left (and quite frankly, rightfilully so), but this is a classy tweet from Isby. To be fair, he did play under the worst coach in USU modern history.

That is great to see former players give praise to the current team. It wasn't that Isby left, it was how he left. Other than Collette it was the weirdest exit of modern Aggie hoops.

I don't even remember the details of his departure. I guess I will have to go look that up.

Duryea probably doesn't want to send out a tweet because he was fired and had a contract dispute on the way out the door.

I was the TWSS guy but I agreed to never use it again after significant pressure from board members. Then I became somewhat of a gif guy I suppose. But all along the way the one constant with me has been my obsession with churros although I admittedly haven’t had one in years. It’s mostly due to having grown up in a big family and never being able to get them when we were at amusement parks or ballgames.

Thank goodness Costco has them for a buck. My kids haven't had to go through the mental trauma that you have endured.

I'll be honest, with Duryea as coach I didn't watch a single game last year. I kept an eye on scores but I was not connected to any of the people on the team - I just couldn't stand seeing what was happening to Aggie basketball (this year is completely different). So I went back and read some of the past posts on why people left.

Long story, short. It looks like I missed A LOT of drama.

If it wasn't for Duryea we may not have won the regular season title. If it wasn't for his crappy play design up at Boise for the last shot we have lost that game.

Decently talented players over the last few years basically rotted on the vine under Timmy. If anything, really talented guys like McEwen regressed with TD.

Would have been interested to see what Coach Smith could have done with guys like Isby and McEwen, who showed flashes, and proven guys like Jalen Moore, etc.
