In a day and age where offensive skill players salaries are asinine, 5 million for a starting CB isn't much. Nevin won't be out of work long.

Been impressed he has lasted as long as he has. Cornerback requires more athleticism than any position on the field (IMHO). Nevin is only about 5'10"-5'11" but has maintained a full time job at CB for what, 5-6 years now? Hopefully his career is not over.

Tyrann Mathieu is 5'9" tall and is set to make 42 mil over 3 years as a safety. Wow!
