Not sure if I was just reading it incorrectly, but the beginning paragraphs referencing Logan’s Heroes just seemed awkward for an intro.

Too bad the article is in the SL Fib. Because I don't have an online subscription and I have read my allotment of articles I can't read the article! I hate the Fib. Go Aggies!

I think the author was going with a "things change over time" themed intro.
