Honestly maybe the most clutch team I've ever seen relative to how they play the rest of the time outside of the clutch.

I know we needed some time off especially Sam but that’s a lot of time to think about making NCAA and away from game speed. These guys are human don’t blame them and full credit to NM who is playing up to potential finally.

NM had 25 more shot attempts than we had! That’s amazing. I realize that is due to the 29 fouls and us shooting 45 free throws but that really is quite an amazing stat. They only made 28/72 shots compared to our 25/47.

For as poorly as we played, a good team would have beat us by 20. Luckily, New Mexico is not a good team.

I'm not really worried about Fresno pressing us. Watching the film and having a shoot around tomorrow will give the staff a chance to get that fixed. I really think the long layoff between games was a big factor in how we handled the speed of the game tonight.

Still can’t believe we pulled another rabbit out of the hat. These guys just will themselves to victory. It has been just incredible to watch this season unfold. Incredible toughness and resiliency. One of my all-time favorite seasons and I’ve seen more than a few.....

That’s what makes this such a special Aggie time to me. How many times in our Aggie lives have we watched teams fold and NEVER be clutch. These guys have done it a lot and it such a fun ride.

I really like the toughness that the team showed last night. They never panicked or gave up. They just kept gnawing away at New Mexico. They found some cracks in the press and got some amazing looks. They defended hard and made UNM work for it. Just a great effort.
