Fox Sports has us as a 12 seed, which is the worst seed I’ve seen is projected for in a while.

Yuck and that would be a horrible draw. Iowa State is a dangerous team depending on the night. They have the potential to make an elite eight run if they dial in, but so does Florida State who has NBA bodies on the floor everywhere. Not sure if they have NBA talent, but they are as athletic and big as you'll find in NCAA.

At a 12 seed, they have us as a "last four in" type team. An at large MW team won't fall below 12. Any lower and we'd be out of the tournament.

Rhode Island just took their first lead over VCU(8-seed) with 16:00 to go. Definitely one to watch for seeding purposes.

Add in the fact that VCU's leading scorer left with a leg injury. I know they say the committee has gone away from the "who's hot now" criteria, but I do believe they take key injuries into account. VCU losing would certainly drop them down.

A UCF loss is good for seeding and shouldn’t hurt the bubble at all. I can’t see Memphis winning the AAC tourney, and they won’t get in otherwise.

That also has VCU as a 6 seed. VCUs resume is not better than USU and has 3 Q3 losses. We are a 12 and they are a 6? Thats laughable. This bracket has lost all credibility with that alone.

And that was updated at 7:30 this morning before UCF lost. He had us as the 3rd best 8 seed right behind UCF who lost today.

This Fresno State game is big. A number of teams that were projected to have a good seed lost this week that gives us a chance to get a really good seed.

Memphis is hosting their tournament. They could definitely win their tournament.
Hopefully it's all about seeding at this point.

True they’re hosting it, but they still have to play Houston tomorrow afternoon. That’s a tall task for any team, even at home. As long as Houston wins this tournament, we’re good
