Aggie gear in SLC?
I will be in the SLC area (Sandy/South Jordan) today and would like to pick up some Aggie t-shirts for family in Ohio before I fly out tomorrow morning. Any idea of the best place to go? Scheels?

Don't waste your time going to Fanzz (which is now changing to Lids). They have exactly zero selection of Aggie gear. Scheels might have something. There was previously an Alumni office in the Wells Fargo tower, but I understand it is no longer there. I wish it was easier to get Aggie gear on the Wasatch front.

Re: Aggie gear in SLC?
No kidding. I live in Davis County and even after the seasons we've had in football/basketball, and plenty of alum in the area, Fanzz/Target/Wal-mart/Kohls carry plenty of BYU/Utah gear, but zero Utah State gear.AgMac wrote: ↑March 20th, 2019, 9:16 amDon't waste your time going to Fanzz (which is now changing to Lids). Either the stores are stupid, the school (or whoever holds the license to USU gear) is bad at marketing/distributing licensed gear, or no one bought gear previously so they stopped. My guess is it's some combination of the three, but mostly the first.

Scheels had some stuff. The rest all blow.

Good thing the internet is now a thing. One can now just order something online.

Re: Aggie gear in SLC?
I would hope, but not bet on, the Alumni Association and Athletics Department would be bringing a bunch of merch for purchase at the pre-game event or in the arena. Otherwise, unfortunately in the Salt Lake valley Scheels is probably your best bet.

Re: Aggie gear in SLC?
IIRC the university has an alumni center in the Wells Fargo building downtown. Not sure if that's still the case, but I saw a few Aggie shirts there. Scheels is still the best bet in the Wasatch front.

It is, but Amazons selection is bleak and I’m not sure I can rely on Locker 42 delivery by tomorrow. Thanks for your input though, I’ll be sure to remember the internet for my future shopping needs.NVAggie wrote:Good thing the internet is now a thing. One can now just order something online.

Re: Aggie gear in SLC?
Thanks for the suggestion. A previous poster reported the downtown option is no longer there. Will head to Scheels shortly.Madmartigan wrote:IIRC the university has an alumni center in the Wells Fargo building downtown. Not sure if that's still the case, but I saw a few Aggie shirts there. Re: Aggie gear in SLC?
Can confirm, the USU Wells Fargo downtown location is no longer open. It used to be where I'd get my Aggie Ice Cream fix... Now the only place is Lee's in North Salt Lake.bigwilly087 wrote:Thanks for the suggestion. A previous poster reported the downtown option is no longer there. That looks the inventory of all the fanzz stores in the state combined.bigwilly087 wrote:Scheels has a better selection than I expected, thanks for the input everyone.

Re: Aggie gear in SLC?
The Fanzz store in Provo used to actually have a decent selection. That store and the one in Orem are both gone now.

Re: Aggie gear in SLC?
I’ve always thought that Locker 42 needs to open a store in SLC. Or at least do some pop up events in random places. Maybe they could tag along to the Aggie road trip events?
