Irvine player that is in right now at center Elston Jones? Announcers said he started at UVU? I for some reason thought he was with USU and then counseled out? Yes, No?

He played at USU, did not play much as he had injury issues. Looks real good today, much improved.

He played at USU, did not play much as he couldn't catch the ball, as passes would just bounce off his hands and fly into the 10th row. Sometimes it would even land as high as the concourse of the Spectrum, and that became a danger to innocent people urgently walking to the bathroom up there (sometimes it would cause people to pee their pants). His body language gave the impression that he didn't care every time it happened. Looks real good today, much improved.

Max Hazzard? Can’t be Walt’s son maybe grandson? Walt was one of the guards that started putting UCLA on the map! Walt Hazzard for UCLA, Cassie Russell for Michigan! First Ncaa I took an interest in a kid. Prior to 1964, I remember the Cincinnati teams with the Great Oscar Robinson, plus Jerry Lucas with Ohio State, and Bill Bradley for Princeton. In 1964, without looking it up, I think Gail Goodrich was on that UCLA team with Hazzard! This was during the Estes years. 64 was the first of 10 years in a row for UCLA. We played UCLA in 1962 I believe!
