Mock Drafts
CBS Sports has Dax going in the 5th to the Broncos and Darwin in the 7th to the Dolphins. Seems pretty accurate to me, although I'd love to see them go higher. Is there any realistic possibility that Rocquemore has a pick used on him?

Re: Mock Drafts
I would like them to be drafted higher too.....and especially to other teams. The Broncos and the Dolphins are way down the list....almost to the bottom for me to have an Aggie player go to.

Re: Mock Drafts
Jontrell should test VERY well on pro-day, specifically in the weightroom. He’s got about a 38” vert for a big body. If he’s able to look smooth on the field and run a good 40, he may just be able to get himself a draft slot.

Hey now, no poo pooing my Broncos. I would love it if Dax went to Denver....Worked in Fort Collins, 1977 to 1979. Became a Bronco then! Lived in Loveland, CO. Loved it later when Rulon Jones, Rick Parros, Kragen, even Jim Turner in 77 was there. These were great Aggies and great Broncos! Flacco to Dax sounds good, doesn’t it?

Re: Mock Drafts
I’d much rather live in Loveland than here in Greeley lol I wondered if moving to Colorado would turn me into a Broncos fan, but I still can’t convince myself to care very much about the NFLtroutputz wrote: ↑March 24th, 2019, 5:18 amHey now, no poo pooing my Broncos. I think there is a good chance none of them are drafted but will certainly get invitations to NFL camps.

Re: Mock Drafts
Ron'quavion has an outside shot at getting into the 7th round. Played well at the senior bowl and did well during the week of practice. He's been training in Nashville and has done a lot of work with his 40 time. If he gets into the low 4.6/high 4.5 (he's been testing in that range), he could turn some heads for a physical WR with a phenomenal catch radius. We'll see on Wednesday.... Quin will be a camp guy and don't count him out to make a roster or practice squad.... kid has a lot of determination and has been training hard the last couple of months.

Re: Mock Drafts
No Jalen Green or Tarver interest? Will they at least get interest as FA tryouts?

Re: Mock Drafts
Trout, I loved the Broncos too back then with all the Aggies on the team. Now.....I can't say that. I don't know what it is.... they just don't do anything for me anymore. My love for them left when Elway left. But at least they won Super Bowls. My Vikings are 0 for 4, and its been a long time since they have ever been in one.troutputz wrote: ↑March 24th, 2019, 5:18 amHey now, no poo pooing my Broncos. Re: Mock Drafts
Yeah trombone-ninja, Greeley has too much the smell of (I can't express myself without swearing), like our old dairy farm did in the Springtime.
My Mom was a good singer, so was my Pop. Mom would sing “When it’s Springtime in the Rockies” and carry on with the beautiful melody. Pop would always blurt out after, “When it’s Springtime in the Rockies” ————————-You can smell Sunshine all over Cache Valley. Sunshine meaning a different meaning! To this day, I have a hard time singing, the Church Hymn “Scatter Sunshine”. All along the way, for me it is Scatter Sunshine all over the fields!

Re: Mock Drafts
My dad grew up with dairy cows, so we have the same experience when that hymn is sung. I hadn't heard others refer to manure as sunshine till now. Times change now that most of us are far removed from farming life.troutputz wrote: ↑March 26th, 2019, 4:17 pmYeah trombone-ninja, Greeley has too much the smell of s***, like our old dairy farm did in the Springtime.

Re: Mock Drafts
Eberle will be a junior this year. Very few kickers are drafted. Most teams know there is a plentiful supply of them and drafting one tends to force a certain salary level. They can pick up as many as they want as free agents and find a gem. Sometimes a player can get a better shot by picking his team through free agency and going someplace he chooses where he has a chance to make a mark.
Dominic will be different because I think he has an excellent chance to be drafted. But he'd be smart to play all 4 years, due to the proclivity of the league to FA lots and lots of kickers.

Re: Mock Drafts
Oh yes AF. We must not ever forget the daunting proclivity. One time in junior high a cow tail whipped and hit my face. A bit of sunshine
I wisely said. “Proclivity of it all”

Re: Mock Drafts
That was the first time I'd ever seen "proclivity" used on this board and then I was blessed to see it used in back-to-back posts. A good day indeed. Thank you gentlemen.
