Those of you near a sportsbook

Post by GameFAQSAggie » March 30th, 2019, 11:07 pm

Bet BIG on Kentucky over Auburn. Auburn just lost their best player to an ACL. And keep in mind, we're talking about basketball where one player is a much bigger blow than one football player. Kentucky may even cover 4 with the guy available, but they are going to blow that away with him out! Of course, a few people reading this may also have the ability to get the game taken off the board before too much money is bet on Kentucky.

Thanks.... At about half time I remembered to always bet against what you say. When I saw you in Reno once my brothers and I tried to get all your bets and bet against you. No joke - we got 8 games in a row. Not sure how many were against your advice but I think you need to steer clear of the sports book.

Yeah, it was a good thing I didn't bet on this one.

I remember the second year the tournament was in Reno, I didn't bet on any games. I told that to another guy who told me that he lost the first year then won it back the second year. I also remember telling you I bet on a game the second year that I didn't really bet on just to get you to bet on it, then you didn't.

Another memory I have was the winter after that, I was working with a guy who had a parlay with the others right and the last one he needed was the night before when we played San Jose State at home and needed them to cover a double digit spread, then Brady Jardine dunked it causing us to cover the spread and him to lose. I then told him how the previous year at the tournament, I lost betting on Nevada to cover a double digit spread against San Jose State, and he told me he also bet on that same game and lost. And, he likewise would have liked San Jose State to win straight up.

I usually lose on the tables and win on the basketball games. This year was the same in Vegas. Did good on the Mountain west teams and the Jazz - lost in black jack.

I just pushed on MSU. I picked them to win by more than 1. Got greedy I guess.
