Yes. Taylor Compton is currently the first team slot guy. This is perfect for him and he's done a good job so far. I'll have an updated depth chart before the spring game.taniataylor wrote: ↑April 5th, 2019, 4:37 pmI asked him who was going to be in the slot and he said Taylor

I remember you mentioning Wells and co may have underestimated how important it is to have good WRs and how hard it is to find them. When you look at the best WRs Wells recruited vs Andersen at USU, I'd say Wells has an edgeaggies22 wrote: ↑April 5th, 2019, 5:21 pmYes. Taylor Compton is currently the first team slot guy. Who is going to step up replace the production we lost from last year?

22, you make reading up on the various positions so easy. Your trailing articles are very descriptively and completely well done. Sincere thanks to you 22.

Well consider Coach Andersen and company found his group of receivers in four years. Matt and his crew found those 5 receivers in 7. What proves my point even further is three of those five receivers came to Utah State in the last two years or Matt's tenure.Madmartigan wrote: ↑April 5th, 2019, 7:14 pmI remember you mentioning Wells and co may have underestimated how important it is to have good WRs and how hard it is to find them. As for who is going to replace last year's production? I have no honest answer. I think Jordan Nathan's stats will improve because he no longer has to share reps with two other dudes. But Devin Heckstall and Tim Patrick have been limited in practice the last two weeks and Deven Thompkins just returned to practice last week. As I said Taylor Compton has done a nice job so far but many of the practice reps have also gone to Derek Wright, Sam Lockett and Jackson Prince, all walk-ons.

Do we need to have a discussion about walk ons?aggies22 wrote:Well consider Coach Andersen and company found his group of receivers in four years. Matt and his crew found those 5 receivers in 7. Perhaps? As far as the outside receivers go, they are the guys that have stayed healthy and had a lot of the reps.dyedblue wrote: ↑April 5th, 2019, 10:50 pmDo we need to have a discussion about walk ons?aggies22 wrote:Well consider Coach Andersen and company found his group of receivers in four years.
