Thanks for sharing and I agree whole hardheartedly with the conclusions. If Love performs similarly to last year hes' a first round pick in 2020.AggieUprising50 wrote: ↑April 24th, 2019, 2:44 pmLook who came in at #3 on this list.

He could be the real deal at the next level. I'm glad they included him in the list and not down at the bottom with the other non-P5 QB's to watch.

Re: Anyone Else See This?
He has the size and arm talent to be an early pick. Throws a great deep ball and is really good at going through his progressions from the pocket for a college QB. He is elusive in the pocket and pretty good on the run though probably not a dual threat at the next level. Got a little sloppy with his mechanics towards the end of the year but it sounds like that was due to an injury which makes sense since he was about as accurate as you can be early in the year.
Not too many knocks on him. If he performs well at LSU that would be a big boost for his draft stock.

Does anyone else feel like they are living in some weird, but wonderful, twilight zone? The QB at USU being touted as a potential top ten NFL draft pick (and not long after we had a dark horse Heisman candidate in Keaton), 10 and 11 win seasons, top 25 rankings?! This is not the Utah State Football I grew up with.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Re: Anyone Else See This?
Also noticed in the article below this one: Tipa Galeai is #24 in their projected Top 25 Defensive Players (Woodward not listed).
Nobody here knows anything.

I think at this time Woodward is still under the radar when it comes to pre-draft predictions for 2020.

With Love getting a lot of attention, before the season, he will be gone with a great year and rightfully so. If he projects as a first rounder, it's a no brainer.

I know its been said a lot, but it's a great time to be an Aggie! When was the last time both football and basketball were ranked to finish a season? I sure can't remember, I don't know if its ever happened.

It really has been a great year. I think we should keep doing this every year. It is very fun.

Re: Anyone Else See This?
Something is wrong with this list. How is this Jordan Love of Utah State thought of so highly? The Aggies suck...they always have...losing to them is an embarrassment. Then I didn't see any mention of Zac Wilson or Tyler Huntley...of course I didn't bother looking for either name in the Non-P5 QB's to watch...but it is perplexing that those two weren't even in the 2021 draft crop. Something is awry here.

I guess I'm lucky then ... My first year at USU was the last year of the Brent Guy era. It's been pretty great since then. There are ups and downs, of course, but I like where the trend is headed I was the first person in my entire family to ever attend USU, so I had no idea about how bad the bad years were. All I got was a little sample, and I still had fun watching.
Those games my Freshman Year will always be burned in my memory ... that's back when one of the Frats was allowed to walk into Romney with a sofa, and just put it on the benches. The stadium was empty, the student section was empty, and most of the rest of the place was empty too ... the most dense clustering of people was the marching band lol.
You picked a spot, spread out, relaxed, and watched our Aggies lose ... usually by a lot ... there were always fights, sloppy play, and hard hits. I was entertained. It helped me learn an appreciation for all the success that came later!

Re: Anyone Else See This?
Love fits in with the top QB prospects. Lucky for him we'll play pro style on offense this season. He'll have a real chance to show what he's got without any questions that his numbers are system driven. Just hope our OL is adequate.
Tipi is the real deal. He was great last season. Woodward is a also great player and deserving of all the accolades. I'm glad we have both guys.
