Re: UConn likely leaving AAC
I’m sure it will at least be discussed. Contrary to popular opinion on here a move to the aac for BYU would hurt the mountain west as it further solidify the aac as the top g5 conference. The other risk you have with BYU going to the aac is them taking a Boise and one other team with them.QuackAttackAggie wrote: ↑June 22nd, 2019, 4:06 pmWonder if byu makes a move

This is also the time the mountain west should have a conversation with BYU and Houston to see if there is any interest in joining the mountain west. The conference needs to be looking for any way to jump ahead of the aac. Add Gonzaga in basketball and you have 14 in each major sport.
On the other hand i don’t think BYU is going anywhere. They make a little more from tv as an independent but have nothing to play for.

Re: UConn likely leaving AAC
I get what you and others have said about the subject but I want to be selfish. I hate that school and I don't want to be a part of helping it get back on its feet in any way, shape or form. I want them to stay independent. I want them to have NO conference championship to play for. When they lose two or more early games, I want their stadium to be empty. I want their fans to long for the old days of the 1980's and unearned national championships. Most importantly I want to continue beating their a$$ on a regular basis!slcagg wrote: ↑June 25th, 2019, 4:41 amI’m sure it will at least be discussed. I hope the admin at BYU is as happy with independence as the zoobies commenting on articles and social media.QuackAttackAggie wrote:Wonder if byu makes a move

This can’t be true. I’ve been told more times than I can count on here that BYU can only hurt the MW from within, as a member.slcagg wrote:I’m sure it will at least be discussed. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

This is where the poop emoji would come in quite handy.

Re: UConn likely leaving AAC
Can you imagine the road trips the fans would enjoy taking just to see a conference game? LOLZ, South Florida, Memphis, Kentucky, oh the joy!
