BYU replay
Because it's summer, and i am bored with current sports, I re-watched the USU-BYU Provo game tonight. So much fun. I had forgotten how we dominated the line. We had a huge rushing game and they did not. (I think their longest run was 4 yards against our starters) They would not have scored in the 1st half had we not given them a bunch of 15 yard penalties. I loved the way we ground-and-pounded them in the second half. There is no better way to win than when they know they cannot stop you. Demoralizing for the defense. Good times. Oh, and Woodward was a total beast. He is amazing.

Re: BYU replay
IIRC the guys in the pregame show said byu would out rush us 2:1.

Yeah, the zoob announcers were quite sure of themselves. Most are still stuck in a time warp circa 1984.QuackAttackAggie wrote: ↑July 7th, 2019, 3:35 amIIRC the guys in the pregame show said byu would out rush us 2:1.

Yeah, each of those ding-dongs had some outlandish prediction. Their recap post-game was schadenfreude perfection.FloridaAggie13 wrote: ↑July 7th, 2019, 6:45 amYeah, the zoob announcers were quite sure of themselves. Re: BYU replay
My favorite part of the game was when Rocquemore strip sacked Mangum. The overall game felt like perfect revenge for the 2015 debacle in Logan.
Their overhyped QB had his career ended in embarrassing fashion to an in-state rival. As much as we love Chuckie, he just couldn’t get it done anymore in 2015 (save Nevada game). Getting Mangum benched shortly after that play ensured the karmic circle was complete.
It also helps the Zoobs filed out of their stadium pretty fast after that play!

Re: BYU replay
That was also my favorite play on the field. My very favorite thing was when the cameras showed the Y student section after an Aggie touchdown. They were in total disbelief and agony.sambonethegreat wrote: ↑July 7th, 2019, 12:42 pmMy favorite part of the game was when Rocquemore strip sacked Mangum. Re: BYU replay
Yeah, besides that they were running against a defense that wasn't Wisconsin's, they should have also thought about the fact that they were playing against a quarterback that wasn't Wisconsin's!

Re: BYU replay
The play by Tipa was my favorite.
I wonder if Alema Harrington has even had another meal after all the crow he was forced to eat. He was such an arrogant prick on the radio while I was driving down to the game.
Can anyone find audio of his comments?

A little embarrassed to say how many times I've watched that replay! Can't get enough of it.

Re: BYU replay
Do you have the post game review of their "Bold Predictions"? That was perfect, watching the three stooges having to eat crow on live television.Madmartigan wrote: ↑July 7th, 2019, 2:44 pmI present for your viewing pleasure, the pre-game predictions:OKAggie wrote: ↑July 7th, 2019, 7:14 amYeah, each of those ding-dongs had some outlandish prediction. Re: BYU replay
man, it must be a bummer to be a ybu fan, to see a USU shirt or banner, it would easily trigger bad memories of seasons past and to come.
Just another day in the (Aggie) Brotherhood
Re: BYU replay
That was fun to watch. On ALL of their scores we helped them with penalties. We need to learn to find the ball on all those under thrown balls.Olderthandirt wrote:Because it's summer, and i am bored with current sports, I re-watched the USU-BYU Provo game tonight.
