Tipa and Woodward are a lethal combination. Go look what each of them did in a half against North Texas. They are going to be fun to watch.

I'll eat crow. I don't follow BYU close enough to know anything about Zayne including that he didn't play the full season.Roy McAvoy wrote: ↑July 17th, 2019, 11:58 amLol, come on. Here are the players' side-by-side stats for 2018:
Zayne Anderson | Total tackles: 36 | Solo: 23 | Sacks: 0 | Forced Fumbles: 0 | Interceptions: 1 | YDS: 12
Tipa Galea'i | Total tackles: 64 | Solo: 30 | Sacks: 10.5 | Forced Fumbles: 3 | Interceptions 2 | YDS: 56
Here are the players' side-by-side stats for their last 4 games in 2018:
Zayne Anderson | Total tackles: 36 | Solo: 23 | Sacks: 0 | Forced Fumbles: 0 | Interceptions: 1 | YDS: 12
Tipa Galea'i | Total tackles: 19 | Solo: 12 | Sacks: 4 | Forced Fumbles: 1 | Interceptions 1 | YDS: 0
Zayne looks like a fast, talented player. He recorded more tackles and solos than Tipa, and Tipa outperformed Zayne with more sacks and fumbles. USU would be lucky to have Zayne, and he'd compliment Tipa and Woodward nicely. All good athletes.
It'll be interesting to see who excels in the NFL.

If we go that route, you've got to factor in Tipa only playing half the North Texas game, and was ejected from Boise.

And also factor in the fact that Zayne played his games with one arm tied behind his back AND had to practice against a whole team of Mini Ditkas.

It WOULD have been a joke except that Woodward's ranking has not yet been revealed. #45 was Austin Romney Christensen Lee (or something like that) from BYU-Provo.treesap32 wrote: ↑July 27th, 2019, 12:54 pmYeah I'm a bit behind the game. Re: 1280: 60 in 60
I was looking over this list. It looks like there are 15 Utes, 6 cougars, and 6 Aggies left. There have been 4 Utes and 5 from BYU-P since the last Aggie was announced. I mean 19 Utes are better than the 7th best player for the Aggies (Eberle) and 11 cuegurs are better than the seventh best Aggie. I’m amazed the game last season was even competitive last season with all the Zoob talent.
It’s about clicks, listens, and generating interest. I can’t wait for actual football so all the preseason puffery can be finished.

Go figure, a local (Murray HS) high 4* recruit that hasn't done hardly anything yet but the local media is praying for him to pan out so they can sing the praises of what an awesome recruiting job was done to land him.
