SL Media Coverage ... (SL Trib)

Post by EN-AG » August 3rd, 2019, 10:33 am

I know this didn't JUST happen but as I am thirsty for some camp coverage, there is nothing about Ags in the Tribune. Utes and Cougs both have beat writers. Curious if/when we will get any coverage?

SL Media Coverage ... (SL Trib)

Goon just reported that Stanley Morrison broke his foot in a diving accident. The impact to the team is uncertain at this time.

Honestly, gotta stop trying to look for coverage from sources that don’t provide it and never will. Brian and th other 247 guys give a ton of coverage and insight. They’re actually one of the very few that’s there for practices. He’s done quite a few write ups as well. Not worth it to complain about the salt lake media... feed those that provide it with the clicks

I am definitely good with that. Just looking for coverage - don't really care where it comes from. Where can i find those write-ups?

I believe that the desi news does a decent job with Aggie coverage. I do not read the Fib or watch channel 2 news way to much Utes.

Honestly, you probably won't get much better coverage than what you will find from myself and others not only here on UsuFans but from following me on Twitter and the 247sports website (Management I hope I don't offend anyone by saying that!)

May I suggest you start with the front page of this very site, 'NEWS'. It is currently littered with numerous reports, articles, audio, video, social media posts, etc. about both media day and the opening day of practice.

Jason Turner usually has some decent coverage for the Journal, but '22 crushes it.

If only Logan had a local newspaper with a sports writer who wasn't a complete goof that had any clue or any interest in the home town team.

Uhm...okay. Jason grew up in Logan and is a huge Aggie fan.

Some guy named Alex Vejar wrote an article about our football team for the Trib not too long ago... but he’s definitely not a beat writer for us. It was just stuff from the MWC media days. He recently moved here from California and doesn’t know very much about us yet, and he mostly just covers Real Salt Lake and the Royals, which is what I follow him for

Will respond whenever you ask what the band is doing

Jake Edmunds at Channel 2 is one of the biggest BYU homers out there. (although he is one of my favorite people that loves the zoo)
