I blame this loss on
Whoever is responsible for scheduling this game. Really bad timing after 2 conference games. Not only did it cost us some players due to injury but could really hurt our chances at a championship moving forward. I really don’t understand it at all!

For some reason, we have people on this board that think we don't need the 1.5 MM we received. I guess we better cancel the 2MM we will get playing Alabama. LSU may end up the best team in the country. We should be thrilled to have a game like this each season. There are about a hundred teams that would give their left nu! to play this game. Go Aggies! Proud of you all the time!

Injuries happen in football. I don't think playing LSU had too much to do with injuries. For example, Mariners injury wasn't because of a hit on him, but just because he fell wierd. We have had plenty of players getting hurt when not playing LSU too. They happen and then next man up.

Re: I blame this loss on
Hack - back peddling to pass block. Nobody even touched him
Mariner - Rolled awkwardly like he caught a one handed pass in his backyard.
Gilliam - was a hard hit and could possibly be attributed to the LSU player being physical. Gilliam was originally injured in the SDSU game.
Repp - Didn’t see how he was injured.
Other games players were injured:
Wake Forest -
Terin Adams
Zahodri Jackson
Fua Leilua
Stony Brook -
Peasley
I think Derek Wright got banged up a bit
SDSU -
Cash Gilliam
Jaylin Warren
Andy Koch
CSU -
Gerold Bright banged up
Alfred Edwards hand
Taylor Compton
Nick Heninger knee, out second half
I guess we shouldn’t play CSU, SDSU or Wake Forest either.

Re: I blame this loss on
I’m fine playing the game. Should be the first or second game of the year before conference play. Not fifth game of the year after having played 2 conference games.Agezzz wrote: ↑October 5th, 2019, 5:15 pmFor some reason, we have people on this board that think we don't need the 1.5 MM we received. Game is fine, agreed it needs to be at the beginning of the year, not after conference play has started. We need these games, we don't have the revenue to sustain the program, let alone build something, without the money from these games. We are still a really small school and program. Boise has double our revenue and they're the ones we compete with for the mountain every year. As others have said, it's tough playing a top ten P5 team and would target playing lower ranked P5s. I wonder how the payout would be with some of the other P5s that aren't ranked as high?

Warren was also hurt in the CSU game on a rather routine play. Mariner's injury today could have happened on any Wednesday afternoon practice or against any team in the country.aggieaggie wrote: ↑October 5th, 2019, 5:29 pmHack - back peddling to pass block. Nobody even touched him
