Re: BYU!
During football season at work we do a pick’um contest of 15 games each week. I had a really tough time this week on the BYU v USF game this week. Ultimately I went with the tigers. I figure if they win, I get a point and I’m happy. If they lose, I’m still happy even though I don’t get a point. Either way I’m good!! Go USF!!

Re: BYU!
How a team so $hitty has their only two wins of the season this far come against Tennessee and USC just baffles me.

Re: BYU!
With their last hopes of getting any more upcoming wins with Liberty, UMass and Idaho State on the remaining schedule. You have to think that a loss to South Florida today pretty much crushes bowl game dreams for these tools.

The BYU game will still be tough even with their record. That game will be no gimme for sure for the Aggies.

Re: BYU!
Looked at ESPN box score and it looks like Baylor Romney also played for BYU at quarterback. I wonder how many quarterbacks there going to go through before they play us. Also, any relation to Mitt Romeny?

Re: BYU!
I have to think that the three teams you mentioned are basically going to be automatic wins for them. With two wins already, they only have to get one win against USU, BSU, and SDSU to go bowling. As much as I hate to say it, they will probably bowl this year. But I'd love to see them miss a bowl game.

Re: BYU!
They were on their third string QB today and couldn’t stop the run which they haven’t all year. I think you’ll see some dejected players soon.

Do you really think those losers will beat us, Boise or San Diego State?StanfordAggie wrote: ↑October 12th, 2019, 7:37 pmI have to think that the three teams you mentioned are basically going to be automatic wins for them. I think SDSU is a toss up, especially if the qb is back. But that is just my opinion.aggies22 wrote: ↑October 12th, 2019, 9:54 pmDo you really think those losers will beat us, Boise or San Diego State?StanfordAggie wrote: ↑October 12th, 2019, 7:37 pmI have to think that the three teams you mentioned are basically going to be automatic wins for them. Re: BYU!
I think there is a good probability that they win at least one of the three. All they need is one win (assuming they beat the three teams mentioned above).aggies22 wrote: ↑October 12th, 2019, 9:54 pmDo you really think those losers will beat us, Boise or San Diego State?StanfordAggie wrote: ↑October 12th, 2019, 7:37 pmI have to think that the three teams you mentioned are basically going to be automatic wins for them. I’m keeping my mouth shut. It will not be an easy game for us. Their first two QBs are the best 1-2 punch in program history

Re: BYU!
I don't think beating Idaho State would count toward bowl eligibility would it? Are they FCS? I don't pay attention out here.StanfordAggie wrote: ↑October 12th, 2019, 7:37 pmI have to think that the three teams you mentioned are basically going to be automatic wins for them. You can count one FCS win toward bowl eligibility.FloridaAggie13 wrote: ↑October 14th, 2019, 3:08 amI don't think beating Idaho State would count toward bowl eligibility would it? Are they FCS? Re: BYU!
So...since we already have an FCS win over Stoney Brook, we can't count a win over BYU for bowl eligibility, correct?aggies22 wrote: ↑October 14th, 2019, 5:55 amYou can count one FCS win toward bowl eligibility.FloridaAggie13 wrote: ↑October 14th, 2019, 3:08 amI don't think beating Idaho State would count toward bowl eligibility would it? Re: BYU!
A BYU team that for all intents and purposes should be 0-6 right now and has lost their star RB and are on to their 3rd string qb. They just lost to a horrible South Florida squad and are hobbling into their matchup with Boise which should be a big loss. This has gone from a 50-50 matchup in the preseason to a ‘must-win’ for Gary. I realize that he had bad luck against the zoobs, but there is no inexcusable reason that we don’t blow them out by 20+.

Re: BYU!
they're not our rival
we are so far beneath them that it is a travesty that kalani faces the prospect of losing to us 3 times in a row. it ought to be a terminable offense.
