Football
The season started well because we had a good starting lineup. The season went downhill when the depth chart got exposed. I don't blame the coaching staff or anyone that we had a lack of depth pure and simple, and we need to rebuild.

Re: Football
Not even close. This bad BYU team has been better in every phase of the game. Has nothing to do with talent. Just a team that is completely lost. It starts at the top.

Re: Football
Nah. It just looks like we are Oregon State.
Did anyone not see this coming? Coaching staff thinking we were “close.” Yeah, we’re close. Close to the wheels falling off our program.

Re: Football
Right. There is something inherently wrong about this team. We may suffer a little from injuries, but there is enough there to not be humiliated by an extremely average Y team. We quit. We quit last week and tonight, and that above all disgusts me. For me, the buck stops with Anderson. He lost it.

Re: Football
Also, it's the dumbest loser excuse ever. Like every team isn't down guys. We just got our (I can't express myself without swearing) kicked by a 3rd string freshman qb.

Seems a lot like the excuses blind fans man for Tim Duryea.

Re: Football
Anderson is not the same as he was when he was here before. This team has no heart.
Players may have hated Wells, but at least they acted like they cared

Re: Football
GA doesn’t have the locker room. Undisciplined play, poor execution and predictable play calling. You can see how unsettled they are on the sideline before the game even started. One thing we have going for us is the fans are still riding a high from last year. I hated MW time out usage, but he demanded the respect of a locker room and earned it. GA is going to step up his game as the HC.

Re: Football
Booster pressure = Tim Duryea and the shambling corpse of Gary Andersen.
Hiring search = Craig Smith.
Hopefully the lesson has been learned.

This team played a solid game against a 1 loss Wake Forest, and against Stony Brook. This team has regressed since then. There has been no improvement, and AF and BYU were winnable games.
This team is cratering, and they will be lucky to get bowl eligible. If the team is not improving, this is due to poor coaching, from the top down. What a waste of a future NFL Qb. The good vibe of 2018 is gone. Really a shame because a great coach to hire was right down the road in Ogden.

The boosters are the ones who virtually demanded Anderson, well they got what they wanted. How long is his contract?

Re: Football
No emotion from Gary in the field whatsoever.....
This could get really, really ugly. I hate to say it and it’s probably too early but we’ve gotten worse and worse and it doesn’t bode well.

Also a very solid first half vs SDSU.Jjoey53 wrote: ↑November 2nd, 2019, 11:12 pmThis team played a solid game against a 1 loss Wake Forest, and against Stony Brook. This team has regressed since then. There has been no improvement, and AF and BYU were winnable games.

We are going to regret not hiring Jay Hill... we aren’t going to go anywhere under GA.Jjoey53 wrote:This team played a solid game against a 1 loss Wake Forest, and against Stony Brook. This team has regressed since then. There has been no improvement, and AF and BYU were winnable games.

Not sure it was boosters. May have just been a booster.Jjoey53 wrote: ↑November 2nd, 2019, 11:14 pmineptimusprime wrote:Booster pressure = Tim Duryea and the shambling corpse of Gary Andersen.

Eh, I’m much for interested in what next year brings. If we are the same, Laub can tell Andersen to get lost.
