Re: Following the Denver Game
You can use the TuneIn app to pick up 1280 The Zone and listen to it. If you want to watch it will be streaming here: https://themw.com/watch/?id=6091869575001

Re: Following the Denver Game
There are two 1280 streams on TunIn. One is a copy of their 1280 AM broadcast and the other is a copy of their 97.5 broadcast. On nights when both the Jazz and the Aggies have games they broadcast the Jazz on one and the Aggies on the other. If you click one and get the Jazz (or likely some other random sports talk show because they block the Jazz broadcast per NBA contract restrictions), try the other to get the Aggies.

Thanks! I didn't realize it was being streamed. Better watch for me than my wife's Downton Abbey for sure.ProvoAggie wrote: ↑November 12th, 2019, 10:36 amYou can use the TuneIn app to pick up 1280 The Zone and listen to it. Re: Following the Denver Game
Thank you! As a kid I lay on carpeted floor in front of a Magnavox console radio and listened to KVNU's description of my heros Max "the magician" Perry, Bob Harbertson (his wife was my student teacher at the Whittier) who made a half court at the buzzer basket that I will remember forever, Jerry Schofield, and Hal Theus (who might have been our first African American player). Those were wonderful times fueled by radio where you had to conjure up your own mental images of the game.brownjeans wrote: ↑November 12th, 2019, 2:11 pmThere are two 1280 streams on TunIn. Re: Following the Denver Game
I hope the video stream of the Denver game is better than the Weber one.

Re: Following the Denver Game
Don't count on it. The ATTSN ones seem to be fine but when USU is doing the full production there is a noticeable dropoff in quality.brownjeans wrote: ↑November 12th, 2019, 2:35 pmI hope the video stream of the Denver game is better than the Weber one.

Re: Following the Denver Game
The ATTSN one was actually great quality. 1080p even. But yes, the Weber game left a lot to be desired. Resolution problems, intrusive score banner stretching across the entire stream, non-hd cameras, low resolution, bandwidth problems (buffering every 4 minutes). Wasn't great. I was still very happy to be able to watch the game, just wish we could do better.ProvoAggie wrote: ↑November 12th, 2019, 2:39 pmDon't count on it. It's because they use a podunk local company called Cis-com.treesap32 wrote: ↑November 12th, 2019, 3:14 pmThe ATTSN one was actually great quality. 1080p even. Re: Following the Denver Game
Non-HD cameras? In 2009? My phone can record in 4k. Get some decent cameras and a faster internet connection.

Re: Following the Denver Game
I remember the first year the WAC implemented streaming for teams in the conference. It was like watching NBA2K-Minecraft. It was poor quality and poor bandwidth, but I was happy to see the team from far away. I won't complain about it now either, but we live in a much more accessible world. We can do better.
If I remember right, that was the same year the Nate Harris hit a long shot to win or tie on the road somewhere. I will have to look that up.
