2020-21 Roster

Post by ThunderAggie » November 25th, 2019, 6:43 pm

With the addition of Nigel John, what does our roster for 2020 look like? How many spots do we have left and what needs do we have?

We currently have two spots left. I believe we are looking for a stretch 4 type and a wing that can score.

Is marco anthony a shooting or point guard? I know there's talk that bairstow will eventually probably play point guard but it seems to me like we could really use an additional point guard next year.

Maybe they are thinking bairstow along with the lone peak kid and then some from the Montana kid? I’d agree a transfer pg of some kind makes sense to me.

Yeah, I think we should look to the transfer portal after this season for a PG transfer who is immediately eligible and has experience, possibly coming from a P6 team.

Is the new-ish staff still recruiting Jackson Pollard ?

Pretty sure 22 said Grootfaam is a senior this year due to a transcript issue. So he won’t be here next season. Also, any update on if Fonzo got the extra year of eligibility?

Good points. Took off Groot and added Dorius. I'm leaving him as a walk-on for now until he actually receives a scholarship.

I believe we're interested in the mix for Dallin Hall (listed as PG)? https://247sports.com/player/dallin-hall-46085581/

At this point, I just assume with how Dorius is playing that Dorius will get a scholarship after the season.

You may very well be correct.

Trust me. Trevin Dorius will not be given a scholarship. The Dorius family is fairly well off and he doesn't need the schollie. IF I remember correctly, he may also be on an academic scholarship as well.

The Dorius family sit next to me at the games. They have been to every game so far. If they are driving up from Heber City, they are very dedicated to not missing the games.
