Do we know for fact that he had his appendix out? The HJ article just 2 hours ago lists him as a starter for tomorrow and no mention about a hospital stay earlier in the week.

That article was probably written last Monday in time to show up in tomorrow’s mailbox. /s

Is Porter's ankle still hurting and would keep him out? And is Kuba not playing confirmed? Could Merrill's ankle keep him out?
No chance Kuba plays.
Yeah, that shouldn't even be a question. The man just had an organ removed. He deserves a bit of rest.

I think Dorius can hold down the fort for a few games while Kuba recovers. We need Merrill and Porter to play tomorrow to be able to win.

From what I’m hearing is Sam will give it a go in pre-game.

Is it an ankle issue for Sam? I don’t remember ever hearing what injury was. Going to need another huge game from Anderson, Miller will need to make shots, Brito comes through with his good D and more offense and breakout game from Bairstow

Call the appendix an organ is mighty generous...

It's an organ kind of like a plug-in electric organ is an organ. Sure, it's not the Tabernacle Choir organ, but it's still sort of an organ.

Does St Mary's have any injuries?

Is Porter really not going to play in this game? He injured himself at the first part of the north Texas game but then came back in and actually played pretty good until he fouled out.

Sam has been having ankle issues since the first or second game this year, something that goes away with rest and that boy don’t rest.

I want this game so bad, but I almost think it would be best to sit Sam for this one and effectively give him two weeks rest.

Sometimes adrenaline can carry you through a game and you don't know how bad it is until you rest a bit.

Appendicitis? That’ll put you in the hospital pretty quick after being plenty healthy. Or maybe got food poisoning or something from Jamaica...?
