Bowl Itinerary ?'s

Post by Aggie84025 » December 8th, 2019, 5:08 pm

What are people's plans for the bowl game. Below are mine. Also, I have never went to the Dallas area other than the airport so what are some things I could do on Thursday evening the 19th and Friday the 20th? I wanted to tour AT&T stadium, but they are having the high school playoffs those days we are there so I can't do that. Any suggestions would be great.

12/18- Pick up rent a car at 6:00 am in SLC. Heading to Canyon-lands to do one hike and then driving down to Taos NM.
12/19- Just driving straight to Frisco staying a 5 minute walk from the stadium. Any good BBQ joints to try out, I enjoy some good BBQ?
12/20- What are some good things to see during they day before the game in the evening?
12/21 Driving half way home.
12/22 Driving rest of the way home.

My favorite bbq joint in Frisco is Hutchins BBQ. It has great bbq and all you can eat cobbler, ice cream, and banana pudding. The other option is Rudy's which is a chain and not terrible. It is right by Toyota Stadium.

For anyone going who has the time, I'd highly recommend the 6th Floor Museum. A well-curated memorial to a terrible event.

Don’t knock Rudy’s. Their creamed corn is excellent. Also look into Marianas Taco shop on main. Killer street tacos!
