Where did Anderson go the last half of the second? He was one of our bright spots.

Re: No answer
He shouldn't be playing the PF anyway. He should be playing SF instead of Miller.... Oh well, it takes a rocket scientist to figure this out... Uggh!

Re: No answer
I am no expert of any sport and don't like to rag on coaches or players. That being said Miller scored a few points, but had basically no other positive stats. He also had 2 timely turnovers stepping out of bounds prior to shooting the 3. To me Bairstow should be taking 1/3 of Miller's minutes. He did not play at all tonight and think he could have made an impact.

Re: No answer
Oh stop. Justin, Alphonso, Diogo and Sam all shot more and missed more than him. He hit a huge three at one point in the game and his defense caused turnovers and stops. He obviously has work to do on his shot but don’t just call him chuck it up there Miller.AggieFBObsession wrote: ↑December 14th, 2019, 8:37 pmYeah keep playing chuck-it-up-Miller. Brilliant!

Oh brother. We lost a close game to a good team. It sucks but it happens and it will happen again. It doesn’t mean that someone “sucks” or is “horrible”. Grow up.

Re: No answer
I didn’t think we did too bad of a job on him. He didn’t do much in the first half, and woke up a little in the second half, but he didn’t do as much as I was expecting.

Re: No answer
I agree in the first half we played really well against him. He got some easy buckets in the 2nd half, but the things that really hurt us were his 2 threes.TrueBlueAggie123 wrote: ↑December 14th, 2019, 8:54 pmI didn’t think we did too bad of a job on him. Smith going zone was brilliant. It got Child’s some buckets but the rest of the zoobs were out of sorts. Just didn’t hit enough shots

This game was well coached. We’ve just gotta his layups and open shots.

In my eye's we lost this game because Sam had a bad game much like the Washington NCAA game last season, if he is on we win.

Re: No answer
How do they get healthy? Sprained ankles don't heal completely until they get 3-4 weeks of solid rest which isn't going to happen until April. If Queta's knee took six months to get this far it means he is just now starting to practice consistently and will always be two to three months behind everyone else during the season.Aggie84025 wrote: ↑December 14th, 2019, 10:40 pmWhen everybody is healthy this team is still going to be dangerous.
Not trying to be too negative, but I've never liked the "if we are healthy" bit because they will only get more dinged up throughout the year.
The more concerning thing to me is it seems that if the opposition can slow down Merrill then we have absolutely no chance to win.

Until we can score when Sam is cold or smothered, every team will be hammering Sam.

Re: No answer
After the florida game the team has 10 days ubtil conference play. We have the eastern oregon game but i would bet sam and queta sit. They should get some healing then.FloridaAggie13 wrote: ↑December 15th, 2019, 10:40 amHow do they get healthy? Queta is for sure behind but if you look at the progress from the fresno game it was a good improvement in my eyes.
I still have hope for the team this season.

I’ve out on a good sixty pounds since I was married 12 years ago and still go for 3-5 minutes, added weight has not limited my performance.

Sam for sure struggled to get going last night. His shooting has been off some this year. I am hopeful he can catch fire again as well as the other aggies.

But are we talking about taking it to the rim and dunking consistently or pull up floaters in the lane? There's a difference.TheAKAggie wrote: ↑December 15th, 2019, 1:09 pmI’ve out on a good sixty pounds since I was married 12 years ago and still go for 3-5 minutes, added weight has not limited my performance.

The 50 lbs Antetokounmpo has gained sure is hurting him.Aggie84025 wrote: ↑December 14th, 2019, 10:47 pmDoes anyone wonder if his added weight is going to reduce his athleticism?
Re: No answer
Bean's foul trouble was the difference. Against Fresno he plays all 45 minutes. This game he played around 20. He stays in the game we win.
