What a performance! When he made that reverse layup and just buried a three on the next possession, I knew he would not be denied.

Arguably his best game in an Aggie uniform. I know Florida has been a little disappointing, but they were a preseason Top 10 team with some quality wins so far and we just beat them in a virtual road game.

There was a time in the 2nd half where he got a sweet assist to Bean...then on defense swooped in to grab a layup....and then when he brought the ball down he hit a fade away jumper from the corner. That was all in the span of like 20 seconds. Dude was unbelievable!

Sam played the best game of his career. Defended a potential NBA draft pick quite well. Stat line as follows.
21 pts, 9 reb, 5 assists, 0 turnovers, 5-10 3pt, only 1 foul.

Merrill does so many things for this team. He is awesome. The reverse layup followed with that Ill advised (for anyone in this team not banned Sam) there was crazy.

It seemed like Sam decided he had to be more aggressive after Queta went down. There's basically no such thing as a bad shot when he is shooting it. Green light all the time. We need to enjoy this season because we are going to miss watching him play.

We Listened to it while driving through New Mexico coming home from the bowl game. It definitely took some steam from the Ballgame listening to that and Hearing the aggies won. Listening on the radio it sounds like Sam just had an outstanding game.

I’m not sure how in the know that announcer was but I was surprised to here him say he thinks Sam will be in the nba next year.

I can't see him being drafted, but I could see him getting a camp invite and a two-way contact.

He's not just 46 points from matching Marvin Roberts' point total, then Cornell Green, then Brian Jackson, then Wayne Estes, and lastly Greg Grant. He'd have to average the season out at 29 ppg and us win the National Championship to pass Jaycee Carroll. I hope his 2,000th point happens in the Spectrum.
