Which players and coaching staff do you want to hear from? : NEW USU SPORTS PODCAST

Post by Behind the Bull » January 3rd, 2020, 6:11 pm

My friend and I started a podcast called Behind the Bull and have been able to interview the the Assistant Men's Basketball Coach and DE Jacoby Wildman on the football team.

What other players or coaching staff members would you like to hear from?

Henry Colombi and how he feels about possibly taking the reigns of the offense next year and the possible quarterback battle.

Ena. Ask him, why did you waste Tipa’s senior year? Then follow it up with WTH?

Ena.

Ask him how he will bring the right kids into the program to make the 4-3 work?

Ask him if he’s ever made any in game adjustments or if that is just a radical trend in college football?

Do we use those inflatable human bubble thingies to teach tackling in practice?

Lastly, ask him if he knows what a blitz is and could it ever possibly be effective for our style of defense?

Gerald Bright would be a great interview

Some former players like Anthony Calvio, Emmett White, Kevin Curtis, etc would be fun to hear from.

Obviously guys like Love, Woody, and Eberle as they prepare for the draft. Ebs is downright awesome and amazingly knowledgeable about football overall.

Some of those recent but older basketball guys- Stew, Pooh, Newbold, Quayle, Jaycee, Tai, Bendall, Wilkinson, Jardine, Shaw, Reed, Green and Quinn Taylor.

Of course all of the NFL aggies- and aggies getting ready for the draft.

To highlight one- I think Marwin Evans would be a good choice- simply because he is in the XFL- which could make for an intriguing interview as it is related to a new league.

Justin Ena.

Ask him why USU switched to a 4 man front when 9 years ago Gary Andersen identified USU would be more successful with a 3 man front than a 4 man front and then USU went on to have unprecedented defensive success with a 3 man front?

Ask him why our Sacks numbers went way down compared to years past and why he doesn't believe in blitzing as much as USU teams we've seen in the past?

Ask him why he thought Te'i and Tipa would make better defensive ends with their hands in the dirt than LB's after they've had proven success at LB?

You lost all credibility when you said we run a 4-3.

Kendall runs a successful AAU program here in Utah and has a son that plays at Dixie. Silas had been coaching at Salt Lake Community College but is in his first year at Garden City in Kansas. He was also a star over in the Philippines for years after his playing days at Utah State were over.
