Does this game cost us the possibility of an at large bid?

Post by AggieFreak » January 7th, 2020, 10:48 pm

At this point I think we have to win the conference tournament.

That happened earlier in the year.

Absolutely our only chance of getting into the NCAA tournament is to win the conference tournament. at this point we just need to try and right the ship and get plain better before the conference tournament. I can tell you right now we are not beating San Diego State.

If we win every single game the rest of the year and lose in the conference championship then maybe. But that won't happen at this point. I am not even confident we get to 20 wins or get a BYE the first day of the conference tourney.

I was holding out hope that we could run the table the rest of conference play. Last year we started off rocky in conference play as well. This one is just painful.

We just got our asses handed to us by Air Force. An at-large bid is the least of our worries.

Yes. This loss also costs the university a lot in lost ticket sales. Good job, team.

Don't be ridiculous. We are still 13-5 with two good wins over SEC schools. We still have an upperclassman-laden team and a great coach who should be able to turn things around.

The CBI would be crazy not to take us.

USU was in the talk of an autobid up to today. This game toasted those hopes unless we go on a 14 game win streak.

The YWCA in Ogden hosts an annual "March Madness" pot luck dinner and raffle at the Armory in lieu of bingo night, along with a four team Round Robin every March.

I think we are on the bubble though.

Tournament?

Laugh out Loud.

Trust me, the only tournament these losers are going to is the CBI or maybe the NIT if they’re lucky.

We just saw this team lose 3 in a row, what makes you think they can win the MWC tournament?
