Of teams projected to be in the 7-8 seed range, give me Houston all day. I would be fine seeing Arizona as well. West Virginia’s full court pressure would give us fits. Providence is red hot, that would be tough.

I DO NOT want Arizona. 2 potential first rounders. They remind me of Washington from last year.

I would feel good about playing in the Enterprise Center against a team whose hometown newspaper jumps the gun with an article previewing their second round matchup! One guy who would know more about this than anyone still on on the team is Crew Ainge. There's RolleOverHordeMann and Gary Wilkinson's brother in law as well who would know what I am talking about!

The good news is if we beat them, they wouldn’t spread the corona virus because they would just walk off the court without shaking our players and coaches hands.

Oh I know. If we play BYU it means we'll both have survived several rounds. Still, the thought of this team sending them packing in the first round is oh so sweet.

I agree with your list, except for Penn State. They have struggled lately. Give me the team that lost to Northwestern the same day we were beating SDSU.

I don't think we want any part of Illinois in the tournament. Watch this video. And my preference would be a team that is reeling heading into the NCAAs. Someone like Marquette, Penn st, Colorado, etc.

If I'm one of the other 63 teams in the tourney I'm thinking I don't want to face the Aggies of Utah State.

Exactly! If we are a 10 or 11 seed, I would HATE to see a matchup with Utah State. A team playing very well lately and has a veteran star player in addition with tourney experience and an up and coming coach.

I don't think we want West Virginia (Huggins) or Illinois (Underwood). Similar to how Martin's K-State team beat us up a few years back in the tourney, WVU and Illinois are cut from the same cloth. Underwood and Martin are both Huggie Bear's disciples and their teams play a very physical style. They are tough nosed and foul you over and over but count on the refs not wanting to call everything so they get away with a lot. I think Sam would get killed and not even get a whistle.

On the other hand, none of the other 6-8 seed teams scare me too much. I'd take Houston if I had a choice. I see Jerry Palm's bracket today has us as a 10 seed playing 7 seed Michigan, which is tough but winnable (9th place team in the Big 10).

I don’t want WV because of Huggins there coach, he is dirty thru and thru and I don’t want losing a player due to injury that Huggins tells his players to hurt any way they can. The ncaa should have banned him from coaching years ago!

The one thing about WV is that they have struggled the last few weeks. 4-6 over their last 10 games. I think they're vulnerable. Huggins is a complete tool, though.

I was looking through some mock brackets and all of them had us as a 10 seed in the Midwest playing in St Louis. The 7 seed was all different but Creighton at 2 seemed to be the trend. Wouldn’t complain about that for a second round matchup, if of course we make it there.
