Re: what the heck
I mentioned this in the other thread....
I really don't know how that would happen although looking at their path it wouldn't be that hard considering they would play Yale in the Elite Eight..
Even kitty board was pretty surprised by this prediction. I mean if you can't make your conferences championship game I don't really get how you would be predicted to make the championship game but oh well....

Re: what the heck
I would say to the author, "Jimmer ain't walking through that door".
They're a good team, don't get me wrong, and it could happen, they've hit some big shots. Golem is a shooter and luckier than hell. But I think some of this is that they beat Gonzaga at the end of the season, they haven't been in the tourney for a while and they are still getting residual Jimmer love.
Btw, phrase of the day: residual Jimmer love

Great... world gone crazy for a virus, earthquake, and now an inflation of the insufferable, deluded BYU fan. Just what I need.

Re: what the heck
And now people spreading rumors that we can now predict larger earthquakes are imminent. My goodness everyone has lost their minds.

Re: what the heck
Now maybe Pope can have his team and fans storm the court after this article notches them in the title game. Absolute garbage.

A sports reporter who pulls things out his butt on a slow news day- I’m shocked. Shocked!
We are very lucky to have 22, who actually gives us useful and interesting info.

Re: what the heck
BYU had potential like us. None of this really matters. I'm sure that nmsu troll will claim this was the year they won a tourney game again. Unfortunately will never know any of it and that will always be hard. What ifs are harder than losses in sports.

Re: what the heck
Did you see how they simulated it? It wa a pretty much just chance the whole way through. Plus I would rather actually win our conference championship than be predicted to go to the championship

Re: what the heck
Meh.
Every team in the tourney WOULD HAVE had a chance, so this article really means nothing.
What really matters is that USU gets to hang another conference tournament champ banner in the spectrum and the cougies don’t (and they cant even say that they could have if given the chance).

Re: what the heck
Losses can be hard when combined with what ifs, and there are always alot of what ifs with every loss. Playing at a different time, with different people available or not available, different site, decision to play different personnel made earlier, before or after different opponents, etc.Aggie formerly in Hawaii wrote: ↑March 18th, 2020, 5:36 pmWhat ifs are harder than losses in sports.
