Craig Smith interview
Craig Smith interview
https://www.1069thefan.com/series/fcp/
The first 15-20 minutes are about Jerry Sloan, then the interview.
-Highlights include:
1. Confirmed, we have indeed landed the aircraft carrier.
2. We may not use the last scholarship. (Again this tells me we were not successful in the transfer market).
3. Our schedule is pretty much done.

Re: Craig Smith interview
He is awesome. I feel he is really building a program and he understands that. He mentioned the uc irvine is not cancelled. He contacted them and the game is still on. Be intersting to see if we bring in another guard with the last scholarship or just not use it.
He mentioned Bairstow is recovered from his broken arm. He said Mcchesney is up to 204 pounds, he was at 180ish when he arrived.
College football is my favorite but coach smith is bridging the gap closer for me by the way he runs his program.

Re: Craig Smith interview
It tells me that we haven’t gotten somebody yet and we will not waste the scholarship unless the right person comes along. Sometimes you can get a really solid transfer mid season if you keep a scholarship open as well.bpd wrote: ↑May 22nd, 2020, 7:18 pmhttps://www.1069thefan.com/series/fcp/

They might be hanging on to this last schollie to help balance the classes. If they keep it they will have two or three to give for the 2021 class.

Re: Craig Smith interview
Obviously it's smart to keep all options open and be honest about it with the public, but last year Smith said basically the exact same thing about maybe not using their last scholarship and about a week later they landed Marco Anthony. Just something to keep in mind.

I agree. However, at this time I don't see many Marco Anthony's remaining.I am an Aggie Man wrote: ↑May 24th, 2020, 12:18 pmObviously it's smart to keep all options open and be honest about it with the public, but last year Smith said basically the exact same thing about maybe not using their last scholarship and about a week later they landed Marco Anthony. Re: Craig Smith interview
Here is a new interview. I’m sure most of you have listened to this but if not it is a really good listen. Plus Craig even mentions a tweet that he and staff saw. I wonder who’s twitter account they were looking at
