Love everything about the way this kid plays. He’s like the anti-Miller imho.

I like the energy he brings from the bench. We needed someone to run the second team. Makes this team very deep, and they appear to only be getting better.

He is attacking the press and getting us easy buckets, something we should have been doing for years.

After he completely obliterated their press in game 1, it looked like Coach Weir told his team to not even attempt to press Ashworth in game 2.

Classic Blunders:
1) Getting involved in a land war in Asia
2) Going in against a Sicilian when death is on the line

He has a third gear the Porter didn't have.

I think an underrated aspect of his game is that he is always talking (not in the trash talking sense). I know that coaches always preach on-court communication, but he is a player that I always feel like they are actually doing it.

Also, he was sprinting all over the court last night. Like, he's a great off the bench guy, because he gets at them when he's in. I love it.

Ashworth is the type of player we would absolutely hate if he was playing for BYU. I agree - he has something that Porter didn't have. And that is not a knock on Porter.

I like that he is coming off the bench as he provides a spark off the bench and good ball handling from the 2nd unit. If him and worster both start then we don't have a true ball handler off the bench. Be interesting to see how he fares against SDSU and CSU. He certainly has improved since the start of the year and he gaining a lot confidence (not that he lacks any).
