Not much other than coach saying in the post game that he thought he was okay and probably could have gone back in if we really needed him. He also added that he isn't 100% sure that there will be no lingering problem but it didn't appear so to him.

He also kept Neemi on the court after the team went to the locker room and spoke to him about his play in the second half compared to the first. I would have to believe if something was serious Queta would have mentioned it to coach then.

Post game coach seemed to think he would be fine for the next game. Hadn't actually spoken to medical staff yet though.

Queta looked like he was walking normally when he returned from the locker room.

You can take the Queta out of soccer, but you can’t take the soccer out of Queta.

So that's why they took him up the tunnel? So no one would see the trainer hit him with the magical soccer spray and pop right back up?

Queta needs to develop some toughness. He's either got a problem with toughness and/or he's injury prone. It's difficult for me to watch sometimes as he clumsily lands and almost sprains his ankle on nearly every play where he's jumping near a double team or on a rebound in traffic. His knees seem like their meant to bend sideways instead of the normal rotation.

Durability is not a word I'd ever use to describe Queta.

Does anyone else find this situation with Queta strange?

I don’t find it strange.

How many 7 footers careers were cut short or ended prior to starting based on injury? For every Kareem Abdul Jabar there are at least 5 Greg Odens.
God only knows how fragile i’d be if you added 12 inches to my height.

The guy is just injury prone. It’s not toughness. Look at Greg Oden and so many other 7’ers who have struggled with injuries.

What did I miss here? Is Queta hurt?

He went up the tunnel with a few minutes left in the game and didn't return. He was walking"gingerly" as he left the court. He did come back to the bench. Sounds like they were being cautious.

That’s what I thought. Reading this made me think he was injured and out for the year.

A guy who has been held out this year for 10? 15? minutes is injury prone?

Yeah, this thread is kind of nuts. Injury prone 7 footers do not come back after knee injuries like Queta did. All basketball players get injured, the question is can you come back?

Klay Stall was injury prone. If anything Queta has proven that hr can come back.

Never put it past Aggie fans to talk ourselves out of something good or into something bad. He was hurt last year, but I don't think he missed any games as a freshman, did he? And he hasn't missed any games this year, I don't think. So where is the injury problem?

All this aside, I think he looks sooo much healthier than last year. Even at the end of the season last year he still seemed to lumber around and was hesitant at times (probably why he didn't get much draft attention last year.) He just looks so much smoother this year.

He didn’t return, as he didn’t re-enter the game, but he did return to the bench and seemed fine. The game was in hand at that point pretty much and Shulga was in. If he was hurt or not, he wouldn’t have been in the game at that point. Can’t read much into that. There’s been no indication of anything wrong or anything to affect him playing tonight.
