This pretty much checks all the boxes. Perhaps he'll make mention of how he is furiously "working behind the scenes" to ensure we get the best candidate hired too.

That guy lives in Bozo... the State of Bozo, I think it's somewhere up in Iderhoe .

Maybe he has already made the hire, not likely but possible. He knew this day was coming. It's the reason Smith's contract was extended. It gave him a larger pool to go after a coach. Also, I'm sure he already had a short list of candidates. Any good AD always has a list ready for these situations. Maybe his first choice took the job. Again, unlikely scenario but I guess we'll see.

If he's made a hire, we might possibly hear about it before the PC, fans tend to get heads up on things like this.

Exactly what I'm expecting.

Especially emphasizing that people would be surprised if they heard the names of potential candidates that have reached out.

We'll never hear the names, but in a few weeks we'll anti-climatically introduce the new coach.

Said he hopes to have the search wrapped up by the end of next week. Not sure he will use a search firm- will decide on that in the next 24 hours.

More interest now than 3 years ago.

Have not made the decision to use a search firm yet or not. Probably already has a list of guys he is interested in. He feels confident he can get this done quickly.

He's not doing a Press Conference. There is a media zoom at 1:30 where questions can be asked. Ajay said that there won't be any live feed but that he'd post the audio after it's done.

Wow, said he even has reached out to Sam Merrill to influence the players to "keep the faith". I like that he is reaching out to the players and telling them he will do his best.

Sucks that a couple of the core guys have gone through this twice now.

He said that there are 6 guys that he definitely wants to talk to. Some who are having success in current positions that want confidentiality during the process.

That probably gives warm fuzzies to the Pasternack crowd.
