How was the bowl season?

Obviously, we know the worst.

6. First Responders Bowl: Boise State vs. Boston College (Canceled)

The outcome of this game just sucked overall since this game did not get to be played due to weather and lightning delays. It was the first post-season FBS game get canceled since San Jose State and Hawaii was never played due to the attack on Pearl Harbor.

This game was 7-0 after a Boston College touchdown run in the first quarter, so who knows how it would have played out.

5. Frisco Bowl: Ohio 27, San Diego State 0

If not for the First Responders Bowl being canceled this game would have been the worst. The Aztecs defense played just OK against a pretty good Bobcats offense but the offense was just non-existence.

Rocky Long decided to go with both Ryan Agnew and Christian Chapman at quarterback; with Agnew getting the most playing time. He went 11 of 24 for 126 yards with a pick while the running game did its best to help out with Juwan Washington‘s 129 yards but 44 of that came on one play.

San Diego State just couldn’t move the ball and it showed by having 15 third downs and converted just six of those, had its second-worst yards per play outcome on offense at 4.63 and allowed the Bobcats offense to move the ball at 6.79 yards per play.

4. Hawaii Bowl: Louisiana Tech 31, Hawaii 14

Hawaii started the game off on a bad foot as star wide receiver John Ursua was out of the game with a hamstring injury. Removing the Warriors best player was huge and also what did not help was that QB Cole McDonald was pulled for Chevan Cordeiro and the two went back and forth.

The offense never got going with three total interceptions and the offensive line could not protect whoever was at quarterback as Louisiana Tech had nine sacks.
