OFFENSE

Quarterback 

CHUCKIE KEETON — A difficult call over NFL-bound Jordan Love, Keeton helped turn the Aggie program around, finishing his career first in total offense with 8,808 yards. Injuries plagued him after record-setting sophomore year in 2012 that saw him set school records for TD passes (27), passing yards (3,373) and completion percentage (.676).

Running backs

ROBERT TURBIN — Put together third-best rushing season in school history in 2011 with 1,157 yards, while also setting the school record for rushing touchdowns with 19 before leaving early for the NFL.

KERWYNN WILLIAMS — Williams was right behind Turbin’s phenomenal pace in 2012, churning out 1,152 yards while rushing for 15 TDs.

Wide receivers

HUNTER SHARP — Junior college transfer was USU’s leading playmaker in 2014-15, totaling 137 receptions for 1,774 yards and 16 touchdowns. 

RON’QUAVION TARVER — Six-foot-3 wideout led the Aggies in every receiving category during each of his three years in Logan, ending his Utah State career with 160 catches, 1,880 yards and 18 TDs.

Offensive line

TYLER LARSEN – First-team All-WAC (2011-12) and All-Mountain West (2013) pick was invited to the NFL Combine after starting a school-record 52 consecutive games.

JAMIE MARKOSIAN — Juan Diego product saw action all four years in Logan, picking up all-conference honors after starting all 27 games at left guard in 2012 and ‘13. 

ERIC SCHULTZ — Started 40 games at right tackle and right guard from 2011-13, earning first-team All-WAC honors in 2012.

KEVIN WHIMPEY — First-team All-Mountain West pick in 2014 started 40 out of 41 games at left tackle during his final three seasons at Utah State. 

QUIN FICKLIN – The first-team All-MW center became a leader immediately after transferring from BYU, bringing attitude and swagger to USU’s O-line in 2017 and ’18.

Tight end

WYATT HOUSTON — A narrow nod over Dax Raymond, Houston ranks second among all-time Aggie tight ends in career receptions (86), receiving yards (933) and touchdown receptions (nine).

DEFENSE

Defensive ends

B.J. LARSEN — Logan native played in a school record 53 games — totaling 94 tackles, 17 sacks and 26.5 TFLs — and was a first-team All-MW selection in 2014. 

KYLER FACKRELL  Listed as a LB, Fackrell spent most of his time on the line and put together a huge senior season after missing all but one game in 2014 with a torn ACL. First-team MW pick led the nation with five fumble recoveries, while pacing USU with 15 TFLs and 12 quarterback hurries. 

Nose guards

AJ PATAIALI’I — Transfer from Snow College saw action in 27 games from 2012-13, totaling 66 tackles and six TFLs. 

DAVID MOALA — A force at nose guard in 2014 and ‘15, Moala finished his Aggie career with 58 tackles, including five sacks and 14 TFLs.

Linebackers

BOBBY WAGNER — Tied for first on USU’s all-time tackles list with 446, future Seahawks All-Pro was 2011 WAC Defensive POY after totaling 147 tackles, four sacks and two interceptions.

ZACH VIGIL — The 2014 Mountain West Player of the Year racked up 389 total tackles, including 156 during his senior year. The one-time walk-on out of Clearfield High also set a school record with 43.5 TFLs. 

NICK VIGIL — A two-time, All-Mountain West first-team selection, Zach’s younger brother had 324 tackles in just three seasons before leaving a year early for the NFL. 

DAVID WOODWARD — Limited to seven games as a junior in 2019, All-Mountain West first-team LB was one of the country’s top-rated linebackers in ‘18 after compiling 134 tackles, five sacks, 12 TFLs and two picks. 

Cornerbacks

JALEN DAVIS — An AP All-American, second-team selection as a senior in 2017, Davis was an anchor in the secondary his entire career, recording 11 interceptions and a school-record 37 pass breakups while starting 49 games.

NEVIN LAWSON — A first-team All-Mountain West pick in 2013, Lawson started 40 games for the Aggies and finished his career with six INTs and 205 total tackles.

Safeties

FRANKIE SUTERA — The only Aggie in school history to play in four bowl games, the All-MW pick intercepted seven passes during his senior year in 2014, which is tied for the second-most in Mountain West single-season history and the most by an Aggie since 1991.

BRIAN SUITE — Unable to play his freshman year due to injury, the Hawaii native who is currently battling a rare form of cancer started all but two games in his final three seasons, totaling 226 tackles and eight interceptions.

SPECIAL TEAMS

Kicker 

DOMINIK EBERLE — An All-Mountain West first-team selection as a sophomore and senior and a Lou Groza finalist in 2017, Eberle owns eight school records, including points scored (359) and made field goals (64), while finishing 167-for-167 in PATs. 

Punter 

AARON DALTON — Hampered by injuries late in his career, the Viewmont High product averaged 42.0 yards per punt in 2017, including 10 of more than 50 yards. 

Return specialist

SAVON SCARVER — Vegas speedster has returned a school-record five kickoffs for touchdowns during his first three seasons with the Aggies, and led the nation in kickoff returns in 2018 with a 33.7 yard average.
