As the COVID-19 crisis in Utah continues, the Utah State Aggies announced Tuesday that fans will not be allowed at the team’s next home football game on Saturday afternoon against the Fresno State Bulldogs.

In the Aggies’ lone home game so far this season on Halloween night, 5,116 fans were on hand at Maverik Stadium in Logan as Utah State took on the San Diego State Aztecs.

Tuesday’s announcement said that for the time being, the no-fans policy applies just to this Saturday’s game. Fans who purchased a single-game ticket will receive an automatic refund.

Saturday will mark the Aggies’ first game after the dismissal of head coach Gary Andersen last weekend. Utah State is 0-3 and has been blown out in all three contests. Fresno State is 2-1 and is on a two-game win streak.
