Re: Remaining Scholarships
In hindsight it would’ve been well worth blowing a scholie on Jayden Welling to be able to land Carter Welling. He would’ve been an excellent backup at the 5 and would’ve pushed for starter minutes by year end. Instead we’ll get a raw freshman SF and a bpa big no one wants. We’re going to be super ...

Re: Great Osobor
This whole Israel vs Palestine thing is wild. The whole issue would be solved so easy if the land was given back to the rightful owners. It is held by the rightful owners per international law/treaty. If you mean original owners then that's the canaanites. If you mean return it to who owned it befo...

Re: Great Osobor
While it was great to have a NCAA tournament winthis year, it was not close to being the biggest win in school history. In 1970, the Aggies won not one but two tournament games in a field of only 24 teams. The final game that year was against UCLA for the Western Regional Championship. In my opinio...

Hopefully now we can finalize our roster and get a schedule figured out!

Re: Great Osobor
I can’t comprehend choosing UW over Kentucky or Louisville, but wish him the best! Depending on the weather when he made his visit, Seattle can be a very convincing choice over Louisville. Oh Seattle’s super nice, but UW’s basketball program is just a turd and an afterthought if you’re comparing to...

Re: Chris Murray Thoughts
I know it’s about the transfer portal, but calling CSU a “winner” after every CSU player with a pulse is out of eligibility and has been replaced with what I’d call the least impressive transfer class in the conference is a joke. I’d be pressing the panic button right now if I were CSU. Curious that...

Re: Chris Murray Thoughts
Again, the piece was "not" about incoming transfers. He will have a piece later about incoming transfers..He won't do any predicting until October. He absolutely talks about incoming transfers in this piece. He even has a “neutral” category. USU is going to win the MW by at least two games next yea...

Re: Chris Murray Thoughts
The aim of the piece was not the new guys coming in but how teams did retaining players already on the roster. So far, at least, USU did not retain 2 very important players. That's it..I don't agree with all his takes on anything..I don't think he should have broken it down into winners and losers....

Re: Chris Murray Thoughts
I don’t think he was trying to diss USU and generally like Murray. If the purpose of the piece was just to evaluate portal losses and additions then: (1) I think he’s premature in doing so since things aren’t really settled yet; (2) I don’t really understand what the point is in just looking at port...

Re: Chris Murray Thoughts
I usually agree with Murray, but his take is wild.
We return 3 of 5 starters and have easily the best portal additions in the conference, IMO. That’s not a rebuild, that’s a reload.

Guys, how this “prophet” thing has always worked is as follows — when SLB is wrong he was just speaking as a man, but when he is right he was speaking as a prophet. Duh.

Don’t care if we’re his first choice, just hope we’re his last choice. If he hits here and then bounces to BYU he’d be infamous.

It sounds like the way it happened really stinks, but from one Idaho Falls guy to another, I am super happy Isaac looks like he's ending up where he's always belonged! Re: Josh Uduje
It's his last year and he wants to play overseas. He NEEDS as much court time as he can get to get his numbers up so there will be interest in him. He's a good kid and we loaded up on 2's and 3's. I don't blame him. He has long-term goals at stake. What 3s did we load up on? I see one and that’s An...

Re: Josh Uduje
I was worried something like this was going to happen with all the guards added to the roster. I’m not sure if Calhoun signing a bunch of guards triggered this, or if Calhoun caught wind of this and then signed a bunch of guards. But I’d definitely rather have Josh than either Allen or Housley, so I...

Re: ALL the Point Guards?
Likely a deep bench player on next year’s squad. Meh.
I probably would have preferred offering both Welling bros, honestly. Hayden Welling would at least be a break glass in case of emergency type player and brings some positional versatility with some length.
We have guards for days already.
